Thank you Bobbie for including these wonderful women in this talk. This was an incredibly important discussion to have. I am in the midst of my own grief journey. I lost my favorite guy, someone I loved more than anything, to suicide, over 2 1/2 yrs ago. I continue to grieve every single day, but sometimes now, I find it is mixed in with so much thankfulness for Matthew’s life and that he spent some of it with me ❤
Keep hanging in there…we love and support you!!

I’m going through a different type of loss and grief, I didn’t lose someone to death, but I related so much to the four of you ladies. I felt like you were speaking right to me. For the first time I feel like someone understood what I have been going through. Thank you for being brave and sharing your pain. It just helped this girl so much. 💜

It has been 4 years July 31st that I lost the love of my life my husband my partner since I was 19 years old we were together 28 years and still till this day it hits me so hard that I swear I don't know how I'm able to breathe my heart feels so heavy and alone I hear him call my name at the oddest times some days I'm so angry that he's gone and others I am so thankful that for 28 years I had a magic man love me and our sons and I'm grateful. I just wish I knew when or how breathing will cease to hurt

My dad has been widowed now for 6 years ever since he lost the life of his life and my mother to ovarian cancer in 2016. She was 49 and he was absolutely crushed and heartbroken over the tragic loss because nobody saw what happened to her coming and he had to watch her over the course of a year and a half slip away with all the pain she was enduring. He cared for her the best that he could but even he understood there were limits to what he could actually do. They were together for 30 years and married 27 of them. Things were not always easy between them as they would have intense disagreements from time to time but they loved each other and were willing to fight for their love and keep it together because they wanted to be with each other forever. I'll never forget the day she died he held her hand and her last words were that she loved him because she wanted him to hear her say it before she left and to this day he still wears his wedding ring and has never been on a date since because he never wants to be a husband to anyone else but her because he values the vows he kept and doesn't want to commit to a new relationship at his stage of life being in his 70s. I believe it's important to emphasize that men can also be the spouse in mourning and often times i think struggle with those feelings longer because my dad was so much older that we couldn't have anticipated that he would have outlived my mom. Beautiful piece done by Today

Thank You ladies for this. You have given me so much hope by everything you've all said. I truly want to experience real love with a partner before I leave this earth. For some reason through no fault of my own, I never thought I was lovable. I'm soon going to be 67 years and evn if I have to pay the price of losing that special someone that that kind of love transforms for me, I will gladly go through it. The way you all speak of your love stories, I so much want that in my life just once. please pray for me. Thank You with all of my heart to each and every one of your hearts. You all will be in my prayers from now on. xxoo God Bless and keep you safe.
