I don’t understand how she doesn’t have her own tv show/sitcom. She reminds me of Brett Butler, but less substance issues and just as funny. 😂 I found her last year and immediately could not understand why she’s not known by more people. Love her storytelling. 👍🏾
I think a comparison to Brett Butler is an insult. I didn’t think the was funny at all!
She was in talks for a show but no one made it happen. Ppl didn’t further women back then.

Leanne helped me get through my kids adolescent years by learning to have a sense of humor, don't take yourself (or them) too seriously and know you'll get through it. So many of her stories were exactly what my kids were doing. Before you know it, they'll have their own children and facing the same issues. I love listening to her stories with that wonderful accent. Leanne is hilarious and still looks as fabulous as she did in earlier years when kids were small.

That’s exactly what I did - haven’t been to a show or concert in ages but decided to go see Leanne in Toledo and brought other family members - we had a ball and I’m going to see her again in September. My brother laughed so hard he was crying and got the hiccups😆

I just discovered Leanne earlier tonight, watching a few of her short Instagram reels, then moved on to UA-cam, then to your podcast. She’s great! Being an (almost) lifelong New Yorker, I find her humor fresh, honest, and unpretentious. Now, I’m going to watch for her. I guess her young social media guys did make a difference. She’s completely new to me.
I just discovered her a couple of months ago and did the same thing. Those social media kids are worth whatever she paid them, for sure. Now I'm waiting for her to come through my town so I can see her.
She has this incredible gift that when you watch her act you feel like you sitting with your good friend LeeAnn , chilling in her back yard, seeping cold sweet tea with a splash of bourbon under the willow tree and im from nyc

Leanne, you are hilarious! Before finding this on UA-cam, I first watched your Netflix special.😂 OMG! It is the funniest stand-up routine I've ever seen. I'm a small town southern female of similar age so I can identify with so much of her comedy.
Such a great interview - so open and real. I found Leanne Morgan this year and have been looking for anything she has done. Her special was FABULOUS (I wear high cut undies now...) and her family came on stage at the end. We got to see the mean kid! Hahaha Thank you, Tom for this time.

Oh my, Miss Leanne, you sound 💯% exactly like me when you talk about your grand baby...honestly! Every word you said about your grand baby is spot on. If I didn't know I am me & you are you I would think we are 1 person...lol!! But, I believe there are a lot of other women out their that could say the same. I just love you girl.
I love Tom's thoughtful, intentional comedy, and this conversation with Leanne was just perfect. I loved learning more about her and her story. The story of her first marriage resonates and inspires me. I, too, love Louie Anderson may he rest in peace. It was special to hear stories and Tom's impression of him. Leanne's bit about her daughter was featured in Dry Bar's outro on their other videos. At the end of each DB video, you would hear Leanne go, "Mom, Mom, Mom..." and it made me laugh every time. That's how I always remember her.

I think years ago when Paula Deen had her Food Network show, Leanne joined her in the kitchen a couple of times. Of course, I am an old woman now and could possibly be way off base but Leanne was so pretty and so funny that I remember her. I didn't think about her again until I came across her on UA-cam a week or so ago. She is absolutely hilarious. I have lived in Mississippi all my life and can relate to so many things she talks about.

I so love her. I'm originally from Alabama - mother born in Knoxville. She nails this stuff. But somehow makes it universal.
This wonderful southern Mum is a treasure and so classy. I just love to listen to her and can relate to so much she says. It's so nice to just laugh along with her stories, it feels like therapy to hear another Mum talk about the things we go through as wives and mothers, it just makes everything feel lighter and perfectly normal on those days you wonder "do other women go through this in their households?!" Haha. Especially the bits about our time in life where we are in the change and overheating, and freezing our family out of the house hehe. I really appreciate that she's clean and classy, in what has become a sea of foul mouthed vulgar young women that I get embarrassed just trying to listen to. Leanne is everything, smart, funny, and a beautiful woman, wife and mother filled with love, compassion and humor. I love my children like she loves hers, which is also a rarity these days and just so nice and so refreshing to hear. Love this lady! I also enjoy listening to you Tom, you, Leanne, and Kathleen Madigan will always be my top three favorites!

Wonderful watched it again a few months back this has been a hard year you know Tom my dad was really something but when I lost my mom it was odd and I have the crazy cousin next door so now I just lock all the doors like nine times chains locks😅😅 seriously. A) Can Tom Papa please start reading us bedtime stories at night? His voice is so sweet and soothing. B) I saw Leanne on that Southern Fried Chicks tour at the Newberry Opera House, and all three ladies were fantastic. We laughed our tails off, and Leanne had me gasping for air when she talked about "doo-doo balls" on the field at her son's baseball game. I am thrilled to see her success, and I enjoy every interview I see with her. Tom, great podcast. I love how you let your guests just relax and be themselves.
