    I have both the Buffalo and Satori and I love my Buffalo a bit more but not being able to have limb options readily available makes it stay on the wall more than being out in the field. I also needed longer limbs for it and you are gonna have to spend a lot more money on Formula. On my Satori, I have several dozen different limbs and it makes for so many different builds. My favorite limb combo for it are my Uukha's. It's so buttery smooth, easy on the shoulder, very fast and just can't compare to others. I'm running the 21" Satori with Long Uukha's making a nice 66" bow. I use 40 lbs Uukha's and they give me 46 lbs and are faster than my Buffalo shooting 52 lbs.

      Sounds like we have a lot in common. I really liked my buffalo too, the shelf was thinner if you know what I mean? You are right though the choice of limbs wasn’t good and I love being able to swap limbs for 3D and hunting. I am really looking hard at Uukhas but right now I can’t justify the limbs and the cost. someday :).

    I have the 17 “ riser with Hoyt 40# limbs. Love it. Smooth shooting and fast. The grip is not the same as yours. Hoyt is now putting black plastic grips on it. It’s a nice grip and fits to my hand well but the wood grain grip looks better. I replaced the side plate with an Accutune that I got from Push for better tuning. Funny is I also have the same Bodnik slick Stick as you. 60” and love that bow too! Good luck with the Satori.

      Oh i dream of the day that I can get the acutune. LOL it is always out of stock! Well at least when i check but you can bet ill do a review when I get one. It is nice to see I am not alone in my craziness of loving bows :).

      What length limbs did you get? I just ordered the 17inch with the small maple limbs in 45ib to make total of 58in bow but someone told me it stacks bad with the short limbs. I was just wondering about your experience with yours.

    • @rich7036
      @rich7036 3 роки тому

      joshua williams I have the medium limbs which make it 60”. No stacking noticed at all. I guess it also depends on your draw length

      Thanks for the reply. My draw is 28.5in. I almost ordered the medium but I decided to go with small because I'm going to be up tree hunting alot with mine. But it should be fine. I can handle a little stacking.

      Archery Geek that is a jaeger grip! It designs to allow a more consistent pressure point. John demmer has his own signature jaeger grip. I would not switch it for the stock wood grip.

      I'm quite short at 5 foot 5 inch.
      I'll be using for target practice and maybe 3d hunting.
      I wanted this bow mainly for grest reviews plus I like the look over the over bows such as compound etc.
      The Hoyt Satori costs around £700 here in UK. Is that reasonable?

      Hey check out the comments here. Someone dropped a link to a knock off on eBay which would be a great way to get a nice bow like this. I would try and stick to at least a 19 inch raiser as a minimum for all archers
