    I’m sorry but these are foam. No way they should be at the price point they are at. The makers want to say the money is for development of the design which is bull crap. This isn’t a computer or TV, it’s a foam target shaped like an animal.

    • @ArcheryGeek
      @ArcheryGeek 2 дні тому

      I’m betting a lot is from logistics.. they are all big and bulky. I would love to see the price drop by about 20% though. Rineheart just needs to produce a backyard target that is sub $100 for 6-10 animals and that would drive prices down all over the

    I have the same kind of target panic like you. I draw to anchor above target and really struggle to get the arrow down on target. Most times I hit 6-12 inches above target. If I try to force my hand down then the arrow will go even farther away from target.

    Target panic is a mental thing. No one just talking to you will likely help. You need to reprogram your brain and body influences. Practice form only on a string bow or using tension bands. Shooting an arrow initially can’t and shouldn’t be done for best results. You can’t, in one session, reprogram anything.

    Hairy arrow rests get in the way of my aiming so I had to shave the fur off but that was the only problem. My Howard Hill arrows work great with this bow (68", 35# ). I always use fur silencers on the string, top and bottom. I've only shot it about 200 times but it has done everything I expected of a longbow of that length and weight.

    Shes got good form for a complete bigginer. I have a Samick Sage and those limbs have a slightly different curve to them. Love my samick, cheap but had it for about two years and still going strong. Like the packaging to. Normally im very weary about getting bows from amazon but seemed you lucked out on that. Once i ordered a bow and the one i got was nothing like the one i ordered lol. But it was a cheap metal limb bow, but actually shoots very well. I would say for the price a very good bow, feather flights to, dont Normally see that on cheaper bows.

    You're onto it dude. Here in Australia it just gets a whole lot worse. I just jumped onto my dealer's website and the riser alone is exactly $1,000 and the separate limbs are $700. That is a lot of expense for a bow (as you say), that has a crappy looking old archaic limb fitting that looks like it is out of a lucky dip. From the same dealer, I recently bought a lovely 21" riser that is from Win and Win. It is truly beautiful, that was only $240. I bought a cheap pair of glass/maple limbs for only $200. One of the guys at our club who has a black widow, Predator bow and some new bow from the States that cost him over $3,000 said (when he shot my bow), that my cheap Chinese limbs are equally as smooth as his top bows. Because my bow is ILF, I have now ordered a beautiful pair of carbon/bamboo limbs for it that only cost around $300. Apparently these will shoot even better. The only person that would buy this bow would be somebody who hates Chinese products (Philip from Archery addiction on YT said a lot of archers do on the States), and is a FB fanboy.

    • @ArcheryGeek
      @ArcheryGeek Місяць тому

      I think that is bit of generalizing :) - there is a lot of love for our American boyers but if we hate chinese bows and arrows and parts, we sure do buy a lot of them. I see a lot of affordable bows at the range.
