  • If you’re new to the channel, welcome aboard. If you’ve been watching my videos, This video uses some upgrades to my recording and editing equipment. I’m very happy with the results and I hope that you are too. Since I'm backlogged on content, expect the next few videos to show some noticeable improvements.
The bridle jointed frame was also an upgrade for my friends Kat and Andrea. As I explain in the video, the frame is intended to hide the original marble top on the service cart that Andrea uses for food prep and occasionally for entertaining. In a twist of irony, she’s so happy with the wooden top that she regrets not running with an early suggestion of mine to simply replace the marble with a wooden top. Obviously, I’m happy either way and I enjoyed the challenge of creating these pieces that function together or separately.
I'm already editing the next project I completed for my friends, a live edge backsplash for the stove.
I’d love to get your feedback and helpful criticisms.
Please, visit my website at www.heartwoodandsteel.com. I'll be posting regular updates about some of the exciting changes we are making at our galactic headquarters.

Tools and products seen in this video, include the Wen Crew Square corner clamps: amzn.to/3zfKYRb which really saved my butt during the glue up.
Most of my F style bar clamps come from a family owned business, like mine, Taylor Toolworks. You can get those at lddy.no/1k092 or my preferred sandpaper, 3M Economy Cubitron which is great with battery operated sanders lddy.no/1k093.
Let me know in the comments if there's anything else you saw me use that should get a link.
I finished the board and the frame with Walrus Oil, board oil. amzn.to/3zhZPuj I really like it for an easy board finish that looks great and lasts for a while.
    Thank you again for watching.

Thank you. I was recently back at my friend's house and got to see this another pieces I've made for them, and it really does look good. Dare I say, it looks better now that it's getting used.

Nicely done! Isn't it wonderful when an idea sounds great in your head, but doesn't work like you thought it would.😅

It certainly is. There’s more coming soon. Just made some important improvements to my video rig and I really like what I’m seeing in Premiere. It will certainly eclipse what I’ve done to this point.
