XY screens, Silver ticket, and elite screen have the same style of screens for lower price and they look just like this screen. But great video and review.
@@therealshanelee well other than the obvious fixed versus semi portable motorized screen difference, is the picture quality of one better than the other? Thanks.
I really like the idea of a ultra short-throw projector, but modern LCD TVs are getting so big now, I just don't know if it would be worth it, and 85in LCD tv has so many advantages in terms of black levels and room lighting conditions for 1/2 the cost. What do you think about using this vs say a 85in Sony x900f as your everyday tv Shane?
An 85 is still a lot smaller than a 100 incher. These UST projectors can rival a large screen TV. They're definitely better than a cheaper large screen LED.
Wow!! With you your husband glasses on, for a moment while you were putting the screen together, you looked like Bruce Lee in Fist of Fury (Chinese Connection), as far as the screen is concerned, could this be used with conventional projectors, say like the JVC NX5 or 7?
You mention near the end that it's "8K capable". Do non "8K capable" screens absorb or refuse to reflect half of the pixels? Is there a "4K" or "1080" projector screen? I don't think so..... It's the exact same screen that "XY Screens" sells at a fraction of the price. www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Ultra-Thin-Bezel-100-Inch-PET_60816058162.html?spm=a2700.12839234.0.0.10693e5fkFlAqc
@@Grobyck it's all still plastic though. I was planning to wait a year for prices to drop, but with this Plandemic thing it's gonna be at least another year longer for things to return to normality. Superinflation will await us since manufacturing has been outsourced to China the last couple of decades.
where do you see these on alibaba, i only see xy screens and another brand. Also i have yet to buy something from there, how do i know if something is legit? Some of the posts seem very fishy
@@Grobyck the xy screen Ali Baba link i found from the Nexitech video. If you order from Ali Baba, you have a guarantee via Trade Assurance. Also on Ali Baba site Shenzhen SMX display Technology Co., Ltd, looks like their prices for a 120" are a bit cheaper, haven't seen any video like Nexitech's about it though. I gotta knock you for big bang but beyond that solid review
😁

Dope Video SC
Does it project 2:35:1 the ultra short throw?
There aren't any consumer projectors that do.
The new Samsung laser might do that. Hopefully you can do a review.
what size would you recommend for a basement wall?
Didn’t see it in atmos an theatre but how was Rise of Skywalker for sound?
😳
$3000 for a 120" plastic screen, there's no 8K tech involved of course. So, a rip off...
So how does this ALR compare to the much less expensive Elite CLR and the SI Black Diamond?
This screen is up there in Black Diamond Range.
Now that’s a good question.
Plz help me plz plz tell me which is best for ultra short throw projector screen Elite screen vs this elune vision 8k aurora plz plz plz plz plz reply
is this better than the floor rising screen you reviewed
Both for very different setups.
@@therealshanelee different how exactly?
@@peTeMelster well one stays fixed on your wall. The other is more of a special situation type of screen.
@@therealshanelee well other than the obvious fixed versus semi portable motorized screen difference, is the picture quality of one better than the other? Thanks.
I preferred this one marginally.
Does the EluneVision screen perform better with daylight/ambient light than the Vividstorm floor rising screen?
Whats going on with lines on the screen?
Laser and the shutter speed.
What you think about the new view sonic x100 projector coming out soon?
I'll have to look into it.
how do you feel about watching 2.35.1 ratio movies on a 16:9 screen? does it bother you at all? does it feel noticeable?

The Epson isn't out yet.
Anxiously awaiting the NX 7 review. Is it coming soon?
Waiting on a new screen first.
what's the nx7?

@ Alibaba these screens are starting from $450...
Yeah that's Alibaba man lol

I have the 120inch XY Pet Crystal screen for half the price and looks better then this one :)
I'm sure it does.
@@therealshanelee , maybe you can review it one day😎
8k ... ? It’s a screen not a Tv nor a projector
Way too expensive. Get an XY screen for less than half the price.
I'm looking at Elite Screens Aeon CLR2
Why call it 8K? Lmao so the screen will upscale to 8K?
It helps if the screen has a texture that will resolve the extra detail without obscuring it.
Hmm I see. 🤔
