How can you tell if someone leaves? I have had several what I think for sure are leavers before I win my round 3. Feel like the game has no transparency.
i'd give that azucena the benefit of the doubt. it's not absolutely guaranteed unless they plug when they're heavily disadvantaged and about to lose the game. that was still "anyone's game"

games didn't rly seem like the jins or juns that mash all jab strings at you hoping you press anything. they add in lows and hellsweeps which will just launch
Have you taken them to practice mode to learn their strings? Jun specifically because she has a TON of highs that look like mids. Jun also doesn't have a launching hellsweep
Neither Jin’s or Jun’s hellsweep launch but sure. Jin is not tricky, pretty honest character tbh, d2 is too good but other than that he’s not awful to deal with. Jun is tough cause she’s new AND overtuned rn.
@yellowscarlightningscream8347 Jins hellsweep does not launch. Your thinking of Down 2, which launches on counter hit. All Jin can do for hellsweep I's do th 1+2 follow up to knockdown.
Any tip when you're tired of your character and want to try another one but you feel like you'll forget everything with your first character and will surely do worse with the new one?
Hello PhiDX, I hope you read this comment to the end. Great content as always. Keep up the good work! The problem I always had in T7, which T8 magnifies by a large scale is mainly MU knowledge. I study a character, for example Reina, SW this and that, but the timing is very different in actual match VS practice. The pacing of "flow" between hits/stances/mix ups are extremely fast for me to have a completely contained gameplay VS a specific MU. Even when you get +4 frames and you thing it is your turn, heat burst throws all the frames off of the discussion. How to actually improve your MU knowledge without getting your brains overcooked, while understanding the general gist of the game? Is T8 as mash heavy as I see or am I missing something?
Good thing we can report them now :) I hope reporting makes it so that you can't get matched up against them anymore, that way we can make sure these people won't ever get to play the game.
hey phidx!, any tips for unlearning muscle memory of a character / preventing it from interfering when playing a different one. I mained king since tag 2 and have been playing jin so far in T8. I don’t feel jin is the character for me but when i try to play anybody else i’m just hitting jin buttons or trying to do jin combos and it’s really been quite a barrier for me.
Yoo, I’m in a similar situation to you. I played King up until T8 where I switched to Victor. Honestly, it just takes a lot of time. It took me a while to get used to df2 being a launcher instead of a quick mid check lol. Stick to an another character long enough and you’ll stop pressing buttons you associate from another character.

I just have a hard time because mashers are so unpredictable like that literately press every button at the same time best way is to kick low but I have respect in myself and I don't wanna go low the whole game but I guess that's what i gotta do
