What does"going to do something"mean in English?are" will" and" going to" the same or different?
They are different. 'Will' is used when making decisions, talking about facts, the future or things we believe to be true. After the decision is made or when talking about future planned events you use 'going to'. Go is a verb describing movement from one place to another. There is unfortunately a overlap in their meaning but what I stated previously is the general rule.
