You and Matt are so much fun to watch when you work together. Love it! This was a simple mistake the driver made that could have been a huge disaster, but you guys come from many hours away, to meet at a location that was ill defined, and everyone just goes happily to work to rescue this truck. No matter that you get a little cut up or dirty. This reminds me of the tow out you made of a truck that had fallen into a cave-in on the road that left it hanging in space.

I put welding lead ends on my winch and on both ends of my truck so that the winch can be moved to either front or the back of truck and get good power to the winch. Yes it takes some big wire ran to each end and connectors that just twist together.

I used to take a chain block with me off-roading. They were great because you could put a pull on whatever was stuck and the block would hold the load while you used other pullers to get the stuck vehicle moving. They would have been ideal for that situation, and cheap. Great video.
