Thank you for your service! Do you need to be close to anything specific? Work, schools, hospitals? Most options to find something with land will fall outside of Gainesville. You might consider, Alachua, Newberry and High Springs depending on exactly what you are looking for.
Same here (sort of). I’m retiring from the military next year, & I am considering moving to Gainesville, Starke, or Miami. Statue seems not to have much going on that area (is that correct?); do you sell houses exclusively in Gainesville, or on its outskirts as well? I believe that I may have asked you this in a different video that you posted so I apologize in advance if I’m repeating this question. The VA will loan me money up to a fourplex. Do you sell fourplexes?

@@georgeramos3437 I would agree. Starke is a smaller town with a population around 5500 which has not grown much over the last 40+- years. Depending on what you are looking for, some of the other towns outside of Gainesville would have more, events, activities and overall growth.
How is the public transportation and Taxi service
Much of the public transportation is used by UF students but you can find the schedules and details for buses here - go-rts.com/ In addition to that there are ride sharing services but we don't see a lot of general taxi service.

Very helpful as always Donovan. Wish there was easier to find info on internet quality per location. We'd love more land, cheaper mortgage and less neighbors but not sure we can sacrifice reliable high speed internet for it all.😂

Thanks for watching! Depending on what you are looking for Alachua and Newberry are popular, small towns outside of Gainesville that have larger parcels of land for sale. It has been a challenge over the last few years with so few options coming on the market.

I lived in Gainesville from 1970-1975. We lived in Forest Ridge. It was super. One negative on the town it is VERY liberal....and anything goes...In 1970 the population was about 30,000. My dad worked at Farm Bureau Ins. He loved it. Go to a small town and things will be better.
