@@afoolishfopdoodle3284 Yeah, I think it was the first movie I saw out of these ten. I loved the argument, the characters, the plot-twists, the humor... It was truly fantastic
The Lighthouse was so crazy, I recommend it to everyone I interact with, one of my favorites. Now I need to see Jojo Rabbit, obviously. Oh also, I clapped alone in my room when you said the How to Train Your Dragon series is phenomenal. I've been calling this my favorite animated series of all time since the first movie.
I still remember the first time I watched how to train your dragon. The forbidden friendship scene (The one where Toothless allows Hiccup to pet him for the first time) was so impactful to me, even as a dumb kid at the age of 7. It truly had a magical feel to it, that's the only way I can describe it. Yes I've seen the movie since but I only get a small portion of that feeling. If there was any movie that I could watch for the first time all over again, I'd want it to be the first how to train your dragon. The 2nd movie is my least favourite, though it wasn't a bad movie at all. I really enjoyed it, but it was all mostly action, and of course sadness :c And then the 3rd one. This movie made me cry in the cinema, something that I simply don't do. It had a scene which nodded back to the most iconic scene of the first one, (the forbidden friendship) and it made me feel like that same 7 year old. If they had played the same music that played in the forbidden friendship scene at the end of the film with the credits, i can guarantee you I would of flooded the cinema so I guess it's a good thing they didn't. HTTYD is truly amazing.
So happy to see Jojo Rabbit at number one. I feel like while it's had mainly good reviews, I haven't seen anyone really singing its praises, much less declare it the best film of the year. So I'm thrilled to see it tops your list cos I feel like it needs more recognition as a truly brilliant film. Here's hoping it gets that best picture Oscar, Taika Waititi deserves it for sure.
The feeling when you've been waiting for Jojo Rabbit for months and your favourite youtuber praises it but it won't come out in your country until late january 2020. *sad french noises*
I just burst out when the movie ended. The character development is amaizing. The charachers are amaizing. The story is amaizing. The hanging scene destroyed me. The end destroyed me. Goddamn it Taika you fucking wizard. Also Taika hitler was terifying at the end.
I guess Shrek 3 is just Shrek Forever After, it's probably not an entirely separate movie, otherwise Forever After would be Shrek 4 and there are only 3 Shrek movies
Honestly, I think HTTYD is a better series than Toy Story, story-wise. Although it must be said that without TS1, we wouldn't have anything like HTTYD for some time.
@@twigb6863 I'd say it would be the Godfather of good 3d animated movies. The best 2d animated movies like spirited away, princess mononoke, etc. would've been made regardless of toy story.

Hello Schaff. I just wanna say that if it wasn’t for this video, I would’ve never seen JoJo Rabbit. You were able to remove my fears I had about the movie (I feared it’d be accidentally racist and or I’d be triggered easily) and I even got to see it before it hit wide release! The movie blew my mind, and even helped me work through the tragedy of my families (I’m from a German and a Jewish family). I’ve seen the movie three times now, and I notice new things each time I watch it, and all the characters were so thought provoking and wonderful. It was truly an incredible experience; it’s my favorite movie. And I’ve made new friends by watching and talking about it! So...If it weren’t for this video, none of that would’ve happened. I’m eternally grateful. THANK YOU SO MUCH DUDE!!!
It's funny that people say the 2010s has nothing really DEFINING them as a decade. But that's their mistake. If anything, what marked, and defined the 2010s as a whole was *FILM.* The 2010s was an incredible decade of film making and I'm so excited to see where it goes from here. We had incredible break out moments for superhero films, to return to form films for animation, to incredible horror films, to films that showcased diversity in an incredible way. From Jan 1st 2009, to Dec 31st 2019 what marked this decade was the incredible art of film. And that's nothing to scoff at.
24 Frames of Nick: This is one of the worst years for the movie industry Shraffrillas productions: This is one of the best years of the decade for the movie industry!
It could be argued either way. Most of the hyped up, higher profile films ended up being disasters, which can influence some things. I personally think the good this year far outweighs the bad.

The movie was beautifull to watch and seing all of tjem in the screen once again made me feel incredible joy. What I was against was how easy they departed....I mean....they defeated the greatest dragon hunter in the world? Why tf would they separate? That would make their deffences even worse! Also there should be a reason for the dragons to go back again like....there are still dragon nests everuwhere! Fighting with humans for food! As much as I want to love the movie as much as I did with the 2nd one I could not overlook how unessesary this abrupt ending was
Spontaneous Films i mean theyve never actually seen the franchise without judging it so why should their opinion matter Plus I still havent seen anything but praise for HTTYD

@@afoolishfopdoodle3284 Yeah, I think it was the first movie I saw out of these ten. I loved the argument, the characters, the plot-twists, the humor... It was truly fantastic

Mr. Friendship hahaha funny marvel joke hahahaha lol lmao 😂
Have you seen Jojo yet?
“Emma Watson is given very little screen time, which was amazing”
I still remember the first time I watched how to train your dragon. The forbidden friendship scene (The one where Toothless allows Hiccup to pet him for the first time) was so impactful to me, even as a dumb kid at the age of 7.
It truly had a magical feel to it, that's the only way I can describe it. Yes I've seen the movie since but I only get a small portion of that feeling.
If there was any movie that I could watch for the first time all over again, I'd want it to be the first how to train your dragon.
The 2nd movie is my least favourite, though it wasn't a bad movie at all. I really enjoyed it, but it was all mostly action, and of course sadness :c
And then the 3rd one.
HTTYD is truly amazing.

it's great to see someone singing the praises of Jojo Rabbit, it's such a great movie and I feel like people aren't talking about it enough

The dislikes are from the fans of Joker who are mad you trolled them thinking Joker was number 1#..........
Didn't he talked about Joker at the start of the video and said that he enjoyed it despite what the comments on the video?
That was their mistake.
I'm a fan of Joker, but it's not my best film too
I mean, the movie gets a tad worse on multiple rewatches; idk, I picked up more issues, mostly from the script
Jajajja edgy boys i mean joker is grear but jojo rabbit is better
In the beginning, he did mention that Joker wasn't on the list, so if they actually saw the video, they wouldn't have been trolled

The ending to Jojo Rabbit made me tear up a little.
I just burst out when the movie ended. The character development is amaizing. The charachers are amaizing. The story is amaizing. The hanging scene destroyed me. The end destroyed me. Goddamn it Taika you fucking wizard. Also Taika hitler was terifying at the end.

Honestly, I think HTTYD is a better series than Toy Story, story-wise. Although it must be said that without TS1, we wouldn't have anything like HTTYD for some time.
You could say that Toy story is The Godfather to all of the good animated movies

It's just such an amazing trilogy and I really hope it gets the recognition it deserves.
The 2019 is kinda like Avengers Endgame, first and second act is like the first half of the year where they are good but kinda flawed, but the third act is where we got the greatest films of the year like Joker, The Lighthouse, Knives Out, The Irishman, Marriage Story, Uncut Gems and so on...

Ford vs Ferrari was rather good

Ribotto Studios you’re right but it could easily be said that this decade is all about internet culture and memes as what defines it.
Pretty random points as Start and ending of the decade
24 Frames of Nick: This is one of the worst years for the movie industry
Shraffrillas productions: This is one of the best years of the decade for the movie industry!
that's why film is so subjective, and why I love it :)
It could be argued either way. Most of the hyped up, higher profile films ended up being disasters, which can influence some things. I personally think the good this year far outweighs the bad.
2019: "This is a year we're going to be talking about four decades to come"
2020: I'm gonna end this man's whole career
Daniel Craig speaking about a donut/doughnut in Knives Out was honestly my favourite scene of any movie this year.

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON COMPLETELY RUINED ME WHEN I WAS A KID! My first ever fandom I wish I could explain how much this movie means to me!

What are you talking about? There were already dozens of videos explaining why people thought this movie was a masterpiece.

The movie was a cinematic desaster and I honestly can't understand how some people claim this movie to be well written
How to train your dragon movies are criminally underrated.
I was and still am a major fan for over 10 years since the very first movie and all I have to say that the final movie hurt me in a very negative level.

For me the unnecessary villains made 2 and 3 very very inferior to the first. Think about it, the first movie didn't really have a villain aside from human idiocy and rejection of change.
