- Transformers Reactivate 2024 | UNFORTUNATE NEWS. yo what's going on you guys this is your boy RBG aka the random black gamer bringing you an unfortunate update on Transformers reactivate as you guys are aware it's been a one side of the fair where the unofficial sources continue to drop updates on this particular game as we wait patiently to hear from the officials themselves it seems like the ball had gotten rolling as we got that announcement trailer back in 2022 but for whatever reason Hasbro and the developers have been radio silent on it leaving many fans to assume that this game has officially been shelv there have been no updates on the official Transformers reactivate website that was launched out the trailer and if you want to call this an update even though it isn't the developers over at Splash damage took to the Twitter handle to announce that they wouldn't be providing any updates on Transformers reactivate until the following year but now we're in 2024 and it's been 6 months since they made that announcement saying that they were going to be dropping a slew of information in regards to this game only to not leave a single crom of new information and so much time has elapsed it's been a very long while since we knew that this game was even coming down the pipeline and as you are aware a lot of developers have had their hands on it I think it's also important to point out that bulkhead which is one of the Studios that was working in tandem with Splash damage have since moved on to other things and at first I was under the impression that there was a Telltale sign that this game was near completion and we will be getting more of a marketing roll out for it but it hasn't really been that occasionally Splash damage will make references of it like when they had their page temporarily deactivated but once they recovered it they said that you could say that their account has been reactivated which led us to believe that they were still cooking up this game but that's all we've gotten people we have gotten nothing it's been on the content creators to keep this game relevant they've been showcasing so many things that the game has to offer but even that's not enough because most of the things that they have showcased have been nothing but remnants of when the past developers had their hands on the title back when it was titled Transformers Rise we've gotten Elite cutscenes character Idol animations and even old toy art that still features the title Transformers Rise shortly before it was changed to Transformers reactivate but other than that zil and unfortunately it looks like we won't be receiving any official updates for the foreseeable future because according to certain blog sites Transformers reactivate has been delayed to 2025 that's right we got this unfortunate bombshell doing an interview with a Hasbro brand representative in Australia this game this coming out we don't know at the moment called Transformers reactivate can you give us any update as we only really have the cinematic trailer at the moment it is highly anticipated and I know that there's a lot coming out from the the fans are waiting for this to to come out and be released but hopefully in 2025 we'll have something more to share so as you hear he basically just came out and said it it's going to be until 2025 when we really start getting some news and updates on this game which is sad because we've been waiting what feels like an eternity to get something a follow-up trailer to the last one we received at the game awards something to get us hyped for this game and it's unfortunate that we won't be seeing anything until next year now with that said I feel like there is still some good to have in this whole scenario because if you ask me this is a Telltale sign that they're still

Sanders literally corrected this HOURS after the OG video occurred: "I received a reply from Hasbro; Kamyar Zamanzadeh is the Brand Manager in Australia and Hasbro has corrected that the company currently has nothing to announce about Transformers Reactivate, but that they are excited to share more in 2024."

It's a shame Transformers never got a gaming honeymoon phase like Star Wars did during the late '90s and 2000s where you'd get one banger after the other, often multiple times per year
We got a few great third person shooters and an awesome platinum action game. Far better than what most fans of franchises might get adapted

That said, there's so much potential for cool games in TF! Imagine something like Republic Commando but with combiner teams or a fighting games were you can use transforming to cancel moves into each other.

@@TrueGraveHeart Ik but, still if I’m Hasbro, one good trailer and the promise that either Reactivate or another new TF game is on the way should be there priority, from us the consumers a remaster would be great maybe they even add to it, as the sellers, there missing out on battle pass opportunities, cosmetics, and a unique game experience that has a lane. Only could hope for it at this point

Well there is one UA-camr that talks about this but during the interview, I guess… The hasbro branding manger randomly says “Wait for more news in 2025”.
But one person talked to the branding manger, as he accidentally misspoke his statement, in his head thought he said 2024, but blurts out 2025…
If the game did release on 2025, they’re be cooked with GTA 6 when that’s released.
I'm convinced that this game will be another case of a game that gets delayed multiple times for several years, only for it to be incredibly mediocre when it does eventually release.
I really hope that this game will be good, but given how little has been shown, I feel like the devs haven't even started on the game back when they showed off the trailer back in 2022, and they've barely done much in 2023 or 2024, it's probably gonna come out extremely half baked and will be one of those games that needs 2-3 years to get updated to be decent
2:49 a branding manager position is extremely broad. I’ve seen 2 other UA-camrs cover this exact thing and I’m fairly positively that the statement was false. It doesn’t make any sense for a “branding manager”(could be for anything in Hasbro) to be authorized to make a rock solid statement that contradicts splash damages current plan. I’d wait to hear something REAL.
Lol exactly everyone is believing the statement when it was just something to save face from talking about the game. It’s nothing official because it’s not splash damage and it goes directly against what they said about seeing things this year. More than likely we will see either a trailer or gameplay at summer games fest
I bought an old Xbox 360 and copies of War and Fall of Cybertron. I’m good.
Something tells me that Hasbro can't come to an agreement with the devs working on this game, and thus is stuck in development hell. Either that or priorities have been shifted to something else entirely. Whatever the case, it sounds like the game has changed hands too many times and that could be the cause of the lack of updates.

I want to make this very clear And actual information I was part of the Australian team that helped with the set up and the Australian hasbro team knows as much as we do which is nothing at all until we hear something from splash damage themselves. But the list of questions that my mate Mikey asked were all approved questions before hand by Hasbro.
And before the cameras were rolling he pretty much said I don’t know anything.
Best thing to do now is just forget about it and wait till actual stuff drops 😭😭
After hearing that the game will be delayed till 2025 makes me extremely worried that they are stopping progress on the game and just dropping the game and all. However I still have tons of hope that they are cooking up a great game behind the scenes and I just wish and hope they would give use a little more information weather yes the game is still in progress or yes we are x amount until the game is done or just something like that. They don't even have to tell us a lot about the game I just want to know if the game is still being made and if we are actually getting a TF game.

For the fans of transformers the peak is now. The comic is great (almost as good as IDW) current toys are killing it. Transformers one looks promising. Rise of the beast was a good movie. Bayformers are on their way out as each new movie is moving further away from that monstrisity.

My theory is that since Bulkhead has moved onto other projects, the game developing is on a pause and Splashdamage is tryna find a good game developing studio to collaborate with, once they've found it, they'll continue working on the game and give us news in either late 2024 or early 2025

From What I’ve heard, the guy from the interview works for Hasbro Australia, which apparently they know as much as we know, which is 0 to nothing.
So there is a possibility he might be mistaken. The game could be delayed to 2025(or not), but I think we might still get news this year In the Summer Games Fest event…but Idk, let’s see what time tells

Honestly. I didn’t even know it was gonna come out before 2025. Heard bits and pieces of the game, not much (which is a surprise because transformers was my childhood) still love it.

I play transformers earth wars for nearly 8 years now looking forward to a new game
Regardless of how long it’s taking, I still I’m very excited for this game and I’m happy. They’re taking more time to polish it before they release it. Get rid of all the glitches and bugs that might be in it if you guys in the comments would just look at it that way because I guarantee you when a game does come out that does have bugs and glitches. Everyone will will complain about it because I didn’t have enough time to be developed. It was rushed they’ll say so. They’ll give it terrible reviews and tell people not to buy it. That’s how it usually works with games but then when they take too long on game, perfect to get all the glitches and bugs out people will still complain, so please no matter what just do your own thing basically and I hope splash damage is doing is making a lot of adjustments and final touches to the game bug and glitch fixes and little improvements before they release it to the public so it can be the best game it can be at lunchand I know I’m gonna get criticized for some of you in the comments but guess what I don’t care that’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it I prefer to be an optimist about things when so many people I’m talking about you guys in the comments are pessimistic. I’d rather be an optimist about it and enjoy the fact that they’re taking time to release the game and trust me. it’s worth the wait. There’s no bugs and glitches at launch It’s worth the wait I mean every gamer in the world waited 10 years for GTA five and they didn’t have a problem waiting that long people have just grown to impatient they would rather have quantity over quality however am different. I just hope they don’t do what rockstar did when they did finally release GTA 5 because that game it had a really big bug in it at launch and that bug was in the online mode, I don’t know if people remember, but when you’d make a character in online mode and congress with that character the online mode would not save your progress so the character would be deleted as soon as you decided to play a different game and exit and this was a game that they had 10 years to develop and fun fact when GTA five came out it took a couple more months for the online mode to come out so the online mode got rushed creating bug and fans of that game were an uproar they finally fixed it, but I just hope splash damage corrects everything bugs glitches gets them all ironed out of the game and then releases it and it’s good at lunch and it’s still good after that so I don’t mind waiting at all because there are certain bugs like in GTA online case that can just ruin the game because you can’t save it. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen here, but I am confident it won’t like rockstar. They’re not gonna release something a couple of months that’s an addition to the game without doing the proper, the eyes and crossing the tees of making sure there are no bugs or glitches because they actually care about this game. They’re not some giant corporation like rockstar that all they care about is profit so let’s just get the game out there who cares if it’s good or not if it has bugs or glitches who cares let’s just get it out there and start making money on it’s sales and we can just throw some DLC in it but something tells me splash damage won’t be taking that approach and there will actually care about the game that might not be the main reason they’re taking till 2025 to release it but that’s probably partially the reason I’m thinking because let’s be honest any and every game especially a new game developed is gonna have bugs during the beta before the launch and all the different builds of the game so it doesn’t bother me a bit that they’re taking an extra year off to work on it even though I’m sure that’s not the only reason why they’re not releasing it until 2025. It just gives me more confidence to know that this is gonna be a good game when it does finally come out and I will be picking up a coffee, because the excitement for me has not left I can wait another year have plenty of time and I feel like everybody else does too. By the way I mean it’s one more year of everyone’s life just do something else play some other games or maybe go back and replay all the transformers games and complete the stories and get all the achievements for those games so by the time this game comes out you know it’s called killing time here it’s gonna be a great game guys just calm down take a deep breath. The game will get released and when it does, we can all play it and enjoy it and look at it this way for the people that have jobs who want this game to come out and who are looking forward to it. It gives us time to make a little extra money at our job so we can throw money at the DLC and I know there’s caveats with that too but I mean, let’s be honest whenever a DLC is going to drop for this game everyone’s gonna rush to pick it up including myself and I can’t wait so let’s look at the positive here and that’s the end of my opinion that’s worth about a penny if even that
Well, they didn´t close the studio like it´s happening a lot lately, so I´ll take the delay over the alternatives.
They have the new movie coming out it’s more then likely a game will be featured with that also there hinting a remake of the original 86 movie so maybe a game will follow that. I have no clue why but an onslaught of cartoon games are created instead of the realistic ones that have carried the series financially.

I feel like they are still working on it but you have to gave patience otherwise you wont be happy with either outcome of the game, rushed or prolonged. Only some games survived the rushed part.

this honestly feels like it's gonna be another Cyberpunk 2077, stuck in development hell until it finally comes out... and ends up being either disappointing or a bug riddled mess
I know a lot of you are gonna hate me for even thinging this (the Transformers fan is hating me too), but this... doesn't bode too well IMHO. Best case scenario is we get a Cyberpunk 2077 story IRL where they release the game with a ton of issues and will have to grind harder than Ratchet's gears to get it up to speed. Worst case scenario, we get another Transformers: Universe situation with the game languishing in a slowly progressing beta (or worse, alpha/pre-alpha) before it gets quietly cancelled. Maybe languishing long enough for a case of cosmic rust to set in.
Again, I hate that these are what I'm feeling is likely to happen, and that's just my own gut feeling. But that's only because I *really* want this game to be real for many, *many* reasons. I'd love to play it, stream it, grind it to a hundred percent, purely because to me, Transformers is awesome as a toy brand, awesome as comics, awesome as shows and movies, and so it is *fucking awesome* as a game. I said the same thing playing the 2007 game for the PlayStation 2. TF: Reactivate? This game has the potential to crush all the previous games if done right. But this? This radio silence and supposed delay to next year? It's like that scene with Vector Prime trying to see too far into the future. It's just... damn...

What makes me believe this more is the fact that the video was edited 3 times during that question. Spliced together to make a statement. He could have said, we have no information at this time or no comment if they didn't know. I am skeptical because I still believe in Splash Damage's 2024 statement but also conflicted because of that Hasbro statement. Until we hear something officially again, we won't know 100% if this is true or false. After Summer Games Festival, hopefully, we have more concrete information...

Hasbro pushed the toy line, for their own reason but especially following the horrific live action game The Suicide Squad kill the justice league which is absolutely horrific I would imagine that along with a few other things has probably pushed for a tax write off instead of releasing it.

Generally when things like this occur, it's generally a case of development hell. That's not to say it won't be good but considering the trend as of late. Stay skeptical and don't expect much from it.

Issue is it might not be smooth development, it could be development hell, licensing issues or hasbro micromanaging the developement greatly slowing it down. Considering they don't seem to want to show more of the game yet, it probably is either not even close to being presentable. Which for the time frame is bad news.
