Optimus Prime’s cybertronian truck form was designed to look like a fist according to one of the developers. If you think about it you’re basically running over deceptigoons while also simultaneously punching them. This is funny to me

The multiplayer for these games was buggy, but so much fun. If you could force your friends to play it, you'd have a blast!

The servers have been down for two years, sadly. And its impossible to buy the remaster on Xbox One since all Transformers games got delisted years ago because of licensing.

I begged for this game that Christmas when it came out, I played it nonstop for nearly 2 years, i had almost every achievement completed, you can feel the time and love that was poured into the game. It's my favorite game of all time

WFC and FoC, in my opinion, have the greatest renditions of Megatron in any transformers universe. His voice actor, his role in the games, his lines, everything about him was 10/10 and it made the games incredible.
Finally!!! Someone who believes the same! There are UA-cam videos dedicated to all of his quotes in FOC, wish they did one for WFC as well.

playing these cybertron series felt like playing old Call of Duty. Great story , in the middle of crazy war, and everything explodes. man that was epic.
yeah i love that the first one just starts right in the middle of the height of teh war. I mean i bet they couldve sqqueezed a few more games out of the series if they started it a different way but it was sooo gripping, to firstly be introduced to a cybertron we could walk around on and interact with and feel a part of - and then to see so much of it get annihilated across miles and miles of battles that you participate in its a great game
This game is everything I wanted from the movies. Main and only focus on the autobots and decepticons, no human characters.

I've heard a few people say this now, but idk where it comes from since it seems transformers almost always has involved humans in some way or another. Unless I'm remembering wrong.

People complain about humans which yes there’s a lot of human content but no one who complains about it ever mentions that Sam is loosely based on the human from the original transformers show and there were others I’ll admit though it would be cool to make a more tv show or comic like movie
The multiplayer in Fall of Cybertron is one of my favorite experiences ever. The final mission of the campaign where you are quickly shifting between transformers all with different types of movement is still phenomenal
To this day I still use it as a brilliant example for shifting perspectives in a game, since that idea is used so sparingly for some reason.

For anyone that didn't know this fact you can actually use the gun on swindle's vehicle mode if you press the same button used for weapon switching ( it can also shoot automatically if close to a enemy while also having infinite ammo )

This was the first Shooter game I was allowed to play. I found it incredible. Im not a huge Transformers fan, i just thought it was incredibly immersive.
this is the only true shooter game I've ever played. I don't like the genre personally, but this game was an exception, as someone who grew up on transformers. I love that totally different types of gamers can enjoy the same game for different reasons!

I always loved playing the scout class, getting into the fight at speed while jumping, transform mid air to get a few shots off then retransform and drift out of view. It felt so smooth to play.
Sadly Activision lost rights to Transformers... But we can always pray that someone will see the gem rise again after this video and make it happen

When I was younger War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron was MW2 and MW3 which to say played it a lot is an understatement I loved both games to death and that damn trailer for Fall of Cybertron was incredible
This was the first game where I put an incredible amount of time and effort into. I remember rushing home from school everyday just to play. I started out with the campaign and once I was done with it moved onto multiplayer and it was incredible. I loved that you could customize your own transformer and begged my parents to buy me the dinobot dlc

It’s seriously refreshing to see how much attention the Cybertron games are getting. Hoping they release them digitally again with improved visuals… Along with “Devastation”, these games are amongst the best that the Transformers Universe has to offer.

The game was so good such a dark and gritty take on the war of cybertron. It made me feel like I was fighting a losing war as a kid
Fun fact: that cinematic if you wait on the title screen was this game's reveal trailer, and on top of that, it was made by the same guys who animated the robots in the first 3 live action bay films.
At this point Micheal Bay is the worst thing to happen to live action remakes to classic 80s tv seried

Nowhere near close to being obscure (at least in America). The movies making the franchise mainstream doesn't excuse the fact they don't represent the franchise properly and that 2 shows (animated/prime) and these 2 cybertron games all did what 5 movies couldn't do while coming out around similar times as the first 3 films.

Doubtful, after FoC's success hasbro began to demand tremendous amounts of money from Activision to keep hold of the rights to make and sell the games, its mainly why the other games afterwards fell off and High Moon was tasked with CoD stuff while those games were being made by cheaper studios

I have 400 hours on this game, everyday I spent my childhood loving it. Multiplayer and survival mode was insane. Honestly such a nostalgic video.
I grew up on this game ,I remember asking my dad for the 2007 transformers and dad brought this one instead I was angry about it , then an year later in 2013 i played and omg was this the best game i ever played. nothing truly represents transformer the way WFC and FOC games do (and TFP). i do an yearly playthrough of this game and im always reminded how great this game is.

man this game holds up so well! it was one of the first teen games I was allowed to play, and I loved it so much. I played the cliffjumper level constantly as a kid. so glad to see people still love it!
Kev, just before the gladiator arena in the first Megatron mission you can smash the store and get to a secret area behind it where you can play a Claw Machine. There are far better easter eggs than a dancing bot.
The dancing bot is definitely still great though.
I loved playing as grimlock in this game, the music is also really great. And the designs are awesome as hell

This was a key part of my childhood, made so many friends in the multiplayer and played the campaigns multiple times through. Truly a special game.

Absolutely love this game. This is the one game I actually played to the very end. I need this for my 360. This game was lovingly crafted, and nothing has ever surpassed it. Not even devastation.
I absolutely love FoC and WfC, but I feel like both had something the other doesn't. WfC's enemies felt like it had so much diversity in their attack patterns and behaviors, often breaking cover to close the distance to attack you, actually change form from Vehicle to Robot mode along with using a wider variety of weapons like the battle pistol, assault rifle, and explosives. And then there is the character selection on top of campaign coop, you are given an option of 3 characters to choose from at the beginning, each serving their own purpose of attack, support, and a mix of the two on top of having different vehicle forms. It would have been far more interesting if FoC took this concept to allow for more unknown characters to make it in the spotlight on top of adding more diverse gameplay. The only problem was that you will notice the AI is nowhere near as helpful as another living person would be playing with you.
FoC however had the best controls and gameplay. The aiming felt much more fluid, your character didn't feel as clunky when you moved, and you had a dedicated dash in place of a rechargeable secondary ability. It may seem like a downgrade, but aside from Hover and Dodge, there really wasn't a useful secondary ability in WfC. You gain a rechargeable shield so you don't have to constantly scrounge for health after every firefight. In place of using grenades, you have a bunch of utility items that more than make up for the loss of the secondary ability, on top of a normal recharging primary ability. My only issue with this game is the weapon upgrades and perks. The weapons in WFC felt consistent with no way to upgrade them, you can just choose one and run it the whole map. In FoC, you are punished for not actively upgrading your gear, with the waves of enemies steadily growing more punishing and numerous. When you purchase an upgrade, it is permanent, with no way to remove the upgrades on the file you use to start fresh at the beginning.
I love both games, but I feel like it was give-loss situation on both games. If Highmoon was able to bring a 3rd game to next gen systems, maybe we could have got a game that took the best of both games and combined them into something amazing

This was already so good and this game did NOT get enough attention. I’d love a full play-through just to know YOU got to experience this whole beautiful game! They change stuff up constantly and it never gets dull my dude! Even the story is bananas all the way until the end. Don’t even get me STARTED ON THE CREDIT SEQUENCE!
It’s not an overly long game (sadly) and they CONSTANTLY introduce crazy plot twists and tons of new characters and guns and gameplay gimmicks that are specific to the various levels like the giant space-battle level for example ect. It’s awesome!

I grew up on fall of cybertron so seeing this brings back so many memories and the new game reactivate is hopefully gonna be amazing
this also has a sequel in the form of a show called "transformers prime", which is also really good and keeps the same tone of the games, just dont watch the sequel to prime its pretty crap and the ending of prime already brings a nice closure to the story
They also did a comic series from Grimlock's perspective after the Tower exploded

Which is confusing! You know, considering how the game ends in a cliffhanger and the series begins. Also, some flashbacks of Prime into the war for cybertron portray it a bit different from each other.
You also cant forget how there are some novels that Chronicle both the events of WfC and FoC as well as some of the space adventures the autobots get up to after they go through the portal!

Fall of cybertron, what a time in gaming. Gotta say.. I miss this…. The art , music, story & cut scenes and game play took me by surprise when I first tried it out. It aged well , and NEEEEDS a remaster . Imagine this it’s a complete make over graphically and the put it on new gens…. Damn that would look INSANEEEEE
If we got a triple-A 'Transformers' video game that's a sequel to 'Transformers: Fall of Cybertron' and is like 'Transformers: EarthSpark: Expedition', 'Transformers: Devastation', 'Transformers: War For Cybertron'[2010] & 'Transformers: Fall of Cybertron', and 'Transformers: Forged To Fight' have been put together in a blender, us 'Transformers' fanatics would collectively have a fangasm!
For those that didn't know, the giant energon carrier mission was suppose to a be boss fight against a giant autobot called Broadside, he has concept art
Not only was the campaign awesome, the multi-player was very good too. You got to make your own transformer. It was awesome I put so many hours into it

Honestly, I'm really impressed by the animations and environment detail in this game. This studio needs more credit for not just mailing it in like so many do for these movie or you tie in games.

They don’t make masterpieces as good in quality anymore, wish it gets a remaster for steam
