- not a big trout fan for eating wise but these little ones pan fry up and are insanely good. These fish are stocked regularly so the bite is almost always good. If you haven't trying fishing trout it is an awesome fish to chase middle of summer when everything else is slow. So get out there and get you some rainbows.

I like to use berkley rainbow garlic balls to catch them here in colorado ,some put lemons on them while cooking but I think that makes them taste sour so defiantly garlic butter.

Crazy,, Here in MN/WI I've never caught any trout on that stuff.... We kinda go by the #1 rule - "Match that hatch"...... If there's horse flies then that's the bait. Tiny leaf worms seems to work better than crawlers too.

Nice thing about those is u gill and gut em, butter and season how u like in the cavity, wrap in foil or coat in olive oil, cook, and fork the meat right off the bone, so tasty!

Trout pit looks like one from my area C-I ranger country. Last time I checked live bait was illegal for all fishing in the pits, has been my whole life and I believe worms are a “live bait” status. Just letting you know bro.
