Sounds like you're looking for meaningful connection. Like connection with someone who is vibrating on the same wavelength as you. Most interactions are fleeting and/or superficial in some way so it feels empty. Pick the field of science that you care the most about, go to school and study it, and then join a research team of scientists to help try to accomplish something that you think would be a meaningful accomplishment.
