I miss Sunsoft. They had a great lineup of great, challenging titles on the NES with some of the best music you'll hear on an 8-bit console. Batman, Blaster Master, Journey to Silius, Fester's Quest; all were very good titles
Omg I loooooove Shadow Man! The remastered version is SO good! They even included areas/songs that were cut due to budget/time constraints! Here's to a Shadow Man 3! I've never given Blur a "spin!" Eh? EH? "BOOOOO!" 😂😂 It holds up in the visual department, though! THPS got me into so many badass bands! I loved 1-3 so much! From there, I feel like they took a steep fall. And yes: The Dead Kennedys rock! I picked up WCW Vs. NWO Revenge for a whopping 10 dollars at a Kay Bee Toys and got so much mileage out of it! It still holds up! In fact, I played it again last year to unlock every wrestler. It's so good! I made sure to pick up Mortal Kombat Armageddon to be able to select Khameleon: a character who was exclusive to the N64 version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy! That campaign mode was godlike! Great choices from everyone! I just wanted to touch on all the games that impacted me in one way or another 🙏
I'd like to see what they could do with a modern Shadow Man game. I played a bit of a Destroy All Humans! game and it was pretty fun; I need to revisit some of those. Sega Head is so disappointed at me for NOT playing any Dead Space yet. lol
Great video! So many great picks from everyone! I agree with Rad those midway MK games were awesome. The only one i liked from nether realm was the first one they did for ps3/ 360
Hoo boy. There are MANY great games from dead developers I've played. Here goes nothing: Acclaim: Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Free Radical: TimeSplitters 2 and Future Perfect Pandemic: Destroy All Humans! and Mercenaries Irrational: BioShock Visceral: Dead Space Midway: Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and The Suffering Eurocom: James Bond 007 in NightFire Raven: Soldier of Fortune LucasArts: Pretty much the entire Star Wars X-Wing series Volition: FreeSpace 2 and Saints Row 1 & 2
NeatherRealm Studios is MIdway. Specifically the Chicago division which were the ones who made the old MK games, so pretty much all the old Devs are still there, they just go by NRS now and are owned by WB. But thats only for MK. all the other Midway games seem to have died with the company unfortunely, unless WB decide to bring them back. Its also probably why we havent gotten another Shaolin Monks since that wasnt made by the main Chicago team, i believe it was made by a Midway team in California.
THPS 1 was good. THPS 2 was SUPERIOR. 😎 As for my favorite games from a dead developer, I’d say it’s a tie between True Crime: Streets of LA and True Crime: NYC from Luxoflux. The whole premise of GTA with a badge was dope, even if it paled in comparison. Also, the stories and soundtracks were amazing, and the maps were impressive. Navigating Manhattan in True Crime: NYC was amazingly on point, and I was able to get around with ease. I wish Luxoflux had a chance to do at least one more game.
Not a Video Game Developer But I Miss Spike TV now I already know about the cringy Male Gaze television on there In the past but I had several favorites 1000 Way To Die, Pros Vs Joe's, Deadliest Warrior, TNA Impact and Bellator MMA among others but I'd like to highlight Blue Mountain State running for 3 Seasons from 2010 - 2011 also a 2016 finale Movie that's on Tubi TV right now funny as show can't wait for the Revival
People shit on Armageddon but it is so damn fun, the Kreate-A-Fighter never gets old, kreate-a-fatality is uniquely fun and great to BM with, the air juggle tech cancel and meta is also extremely fun, hitting a parry in this game is so satisfying, motor Kombat is also amazing alongside Konquest being super fun, Deception is still by far the better game in my opinion but Armageddon absolutely does not deserve the flack it gets, amazing game all around.
Thanks for checking out the video, I wish it were true too, but sadly they are gone :( . The new THQ Nordic is just Nordic Games rebranded essentially.
@@GoodTalkHQ what does that mean? They own all the IP’s, no dev keeps the same teams from project to project, do you think every EA game has made by the same people since 1982? Is EA of today the same EA that made Bards Tale in 1985? Of course it’s different people but the company goes on and still owns its IPs.
