I miss the good old days, but I couldn't have had a better first console experience than with the NES and growing with gaming. Great to see all my fellow SRF brothers share their first experiences!
Oh man, The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros 3 being a first game is an amazing starting point! Great hearing these memories of all of your first games.
My first gaming experience was playing the original Test Drive on my father's lap when I was 3 years old. I always remember a character in the game telling me "you're so slow, even my grandma drives faster than you!" and me thinking "how cool, his grandma is also a racecar driver".
I feel young with my first game being Spyro the Dragon on PS1🤣 but I love this video, its such a great idea and there's something so nice seeing peoples journey into the world of gaming through there first game!
Hey, thats quite alright! You can listen to us old men talk about games we liked, so it can give a shot at playing stuff you missed out on! Its never to late to enjoy the oldies!
The first game that I played at home was some 70s Pong clone that my dad had borrowed from a friend . It was pretty amazing . It's probably why I still enjoy Breakout type games to this day . A while later he bought us our first game system , the Atari 400 .
Mega man X2 and Mario fun with letters. I can proudly say I beat mega man X2 at the age of 8. Lots of angry controller throwing and time outs. I learned to read with Mario fun with letters, lol
As a mega man fan, i can understand your pain! X2 and x3 i have still yet to beat without save states! Thanks for watching our video, we appreciate it!😁
My first memory is playing karate kid on nes. I remember how cool the title screen was with Miyagi and Daniel, but I also remember dying over and over 😂
Some awesome games here, my first gaming memory is playing river raid on the atari 2600. Also jazz effing jack rabbit!! I loved that on our first family PC
Awesome list you guys! I want to say one of the first games I played were either The original 2D Duke Nukem (on MS DOS - 1991) or Power Pete/Mighty Mike (on Mac OS 7 - 1995). I didn't have a console or computer of my own for quite a few years since they were quite pricey, so I would play on the computers in the computer labs at school or a friends house. Occasionally I'd play them on the sales floor computers at Comp USA and Circuit City... (whoa aging myself there 🤣) When I did get my first Atari 2600 my first 3 games were Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Demon Attack though. Anyway, I was hooked from there. Pawnshops were my best means of getting consoles and games. You appreciate what you had and how you were able to get it back then... I still do for sure. Good times. Much love guys ❤
Oh yeah, nice to see someone played the og nukem! That was a great game imo! Also glad to see others getting enjoyment from the old 2600! Thanks for watching our video!😁
Tremendous videos guys! Me and the wife legit had a lovely, nostalgic conversation about our childhoods growing up with games while we watched! Love all your picks! Kirby was such a huge part of mine, especially playing it on Gameboy walking around my neighborhood! It was so exciting to play games outside 😂 Keep it up, gents! 😎

Great picks fellas, and a great watch! I was honestly surprised i was the only one who started with the 2600! Thanks for making me feel old guys!🤣
Great video! I actually got my feet wet in the arcades with Street Fighter 2 and mortal kombat
I can remember people lining up to play street fighter 2 at our local grocery store, because our local arcade didnt have it yet!
Man arcades are so missed!

Karate kid was actually a solid game! I know its gets crap thrown at it, but its not honestly that bad if you give it a chance!
Karate kid is one of those games some people hate and some people love!

Glad to see someone besides myself here starting on the 2600! Makes me feel like im not the only "old man yelling at clouds" here 😆.
@@GeeksOfRage1 I'm actually really surprised the 2600 only made the list one time
