Out of the original Dragon Aspects, I think Alexstrasza has had the most interaction with the champions of Azeroth. She aided us a couple of times in Wrath, we aided her in Cataclysm, we joined forces in BfA, and we met briefly Shadowlands. So it's more than fitting she's our guide in Dragonflight.
Possibly the first example of the Reds being able to animate the dead was Krasus (Korialstrasz) as he brought up a goblin, in the search for Deathwing's lair of course lol. A bit surprising, atleast to me when I first heard the novel but interesting
I am so happy that you came back to do story videos from WOW. Even when not playing anymore retail wow I like to watch how the story develops through your videos.
To be honest, I never understood the "unable to reproduce" plot even now. I mean, why would dragon aspects giving up their powers suddenly make the other dragons unable to breed? It wasn't like other dragons had anything to do with taking down Deathwing.
Dragons are only a thing because of the titans keepers, they created the flights to serve aspects. When the aspects are no longer of need, neither do the other dragons. I dont get why they get their powers back after "the hour of mortals" and stuff. But it would all conected if Blizzard didn't pull the "the truth we know is odyn's truth" so..even the voidlords could be "good" now :D
One of the main complaints the players had about Cataclysm was the Dragon Aspects weren't really explored properly ingame. Only those who had read the books truly knew what these characters were about. Deathwing was supposed to be not only cruel and sadistic, but also cunning and manipulative. But in- game, he was this creature of single- minded death and destruction (although you could argue Deathwing at that point was slipping even further into madness than before). Also, the disappointing resolution to the expansion was the main reason Dragon Soul is still considered by many to be the worst raid in WoW history. As for Blizzard's recent retcons, I only hope they don't ruin Alexstrasza or any of the other Aspects.
@@Kaminkaese Is this some recent retcon? Dragons naturally evolved on azeroth and one of the ulduar keeper saw their potential and thus they were empowered

Love how smooth u make lore sounds, poor alextrasza all she suffered from orcs and still she finds it in her to forgive them and actually rely on one (thrall) during cataclysm. So does the aspects regain the power they gave up in dragonflight or do they remain weakened
Cataclysm lore honestly strikes me as ambitious but all over the place- love some of it but stuff like what seemed to be an attempt to phase dragons out of the game was just strange. Very glad they changed their direction with the Dragons more recently!

The red dragon flight is my fav flight. And Alextrazha is one of my fav characters in WoW. And there's always "the children of azeroth" that needs help and guidence which she can use her big mom-energy on to love them all, guide them all and and just be the amazing momy dragon we all know and love. And her obsesive loving do get anoying and can be a bit to much at times but its who she is and i like Alextrazha so im ok with it. And my cat is having a 1 in the morning zoomies. To those that dont know what that is it is when the cat needs to poop it basicly races around the apartment at full speed.
I'm not sure if he intended this was but I think he is somewhat going in order as to how the story of wow brought up each flights story. Since shadowlands Green flight with ysera was most recent and in the current shorts yellow flight with nordormu is presently relevant. But I don't know, at least to me it makes sense in story relevance order.
