Are you guys planning on doing the 13b-msp renesis street port as well? i know that it isnt allot of porting that can be done on that engine design, though it would be cool to see that engine get some love.
I'm porting a 1988 13B and the midle iron has a tube for the egr passage that protrudes into the upper passage should I grind this down seems like your iron doesn't have this passage. Should passage be plugged.
when removing the lip toward the center of the plate how far can you go I have a very distinct lip, if I remove the lip I am going outside my porting template is that alright?
boB8701234 No, if you go too crazy over there your oil control rings would not seal properly. That lip is done to help the fuel mixture but you can make it smooth on the inside without going on the actual surface of the iron, be careful and do not overdo it!
Incredibly short engine life and absolutely horrible daily driveability. Bridgeporting alone makes the car difficult to use as a daily and peripheral ports alone are recommended for racing applications only. Combining the two is a recipe for disaster.
