The off Reading capabilities of the Rover are unmatched, and frankly amazing to say the least. Not to mention nothing looks better than better than a all blacked out Rover sport svr in traffic. I'm an Audi guy, but the beauty of rovers is unmatched in SUVs. I would take the Rover at a full second slower.

The SQ7 effectively has three turbos, one being electric powered which kicks in immediately so removes the turbo lag before the “regular” turbo kicks in, which is why it’s so fast off the grid, great vid

SQ7 doesn’t seem like the right model to compare. RS series would be much more comparable to a SVR or AMG.

UNSUBBING with all the over exaggeration in this video. The SVR and G wagon already raced with the yianimize Urus video where the SVR lost badly to the G63. Tried to act like they were kidding us. What people do for money hey.
The Audi SQ7 is heavier and has 100 bhp less than the RRS SVR but it did have a driver who could launch the car when someone else said go.
The Range Rover Sport SVR is lighter and has 100 bhp more than the SQ7 but it did have a racing driver who could not launch the car when he said go.
Having driven an RRS SVR on numerous occasions, if you know how to launch the vehicle, it will repeatedly win by at least double the margin Archie managed.
The SQ7 does have a tiny amount of turbo lag but it is very impressive.
The RRS SVR is supercharged so lag is a negligible factor.
What would be interesting to see is the RRS PHEV vs. the SQ7.

Surely being a car guy you understand why the SQ7 was better off the line than the SVR. It's a diesel and has far more torque. The horses kick in after the DT has got the weight of the vehicle moving.
