There is something in Robin's voice that is so unique and fascinating. Even back in the 70's when there was not much info available and people confuses the beatles and the beegees the identifyer is Robin's voice.
It is Robin’s incredible vibrato that truly makes his voice so heartbreaking. I read somewhere that when Robin sings it sounds as if a tear drop is about to fall. Fantastic description!

Robin and Barry got the attention on the leads but the famous harmonies to me are empty without Maurice. He gets lost in the mix but a lot of the falsetto is actually him. Amazing!!
Such a nice pick! And here we have it again: Phantastic shared leads between Barry and Robin. And harmony-perfection because of Maurice. It's always good when Robin comes in, kinda dramatical, but also, when Barry brings back smooth or some rockin' power. The whole thing only guided by acoustic-guitars, played very sensitive and precise. Magical Bee Gees!
Robin does have a low voice in "The morning of my life" - lovely balance. Maurice shines in "Let there be Love" his voice comes across to great advantage in this medley.
My favorite singers of 70s. Pure singing. Noone will ever touch them, csny, Beatles, elvis. The shows voice, others. Nobody can touch this groups. Including Freddie mercury
When Robin sang the baseline, it somehow became the lead. There was a ‘boom’ aspect to Robin’s voice, no matter which register he used. Maybe it was the vibrato, but even when he sang softly, it still cut through. In later years, Barry would overdub layers of his own voice, but we could still find Robin in the mix.
All three brothers..so angelic..so mesmerizing.Their harmonies are perfection. I so love Barry's beautiful soft voice that makes my heart feel every word that he sings from his heart. I commented a couple of months ago. I come back to listen to this really often. It's one of the best most extraordinary live performances the Brothers did. Everytime I watch it and hear those angelic voices I can't help but get chills and the tears just automatically come. When Barry sings it's from his soul and is so breathtakingly beautiful just like him. No one has ever touched my heart like he does..he's the..owner of my heart💘😌 I'm SO THANKFUL we can watch all these videos whenever we want to. Thank goodness for modern technology. Brilliant. Three voices, two guitars and a brilliant collection in a medley that is simply a showcase of brilliant gifted talent. This version is classic. Heard many versions but the harmony of the songs in this arrangement are different and just supreme.
How beautiful is this to experience....this wonderful singing and everyone in the audience just in the moment----taking it in and enjoying every note!! (without all the distraction of everyone standing up with a cell phone ---and not even really being in the moment). These times before cell phone addiction was far better!!
