At 68 and in remission with stage 3c colon cancer, I'm getting ready for the inevitable. Yes, I do have many regrets, but I do have many fond memories. And listening to wonderful songs like this helps keep the good memories alive with in me. If you are young find that soul mate and live your life to the fullest. But most importantly walk with Jesus. Having him walking with you in your life journey guarantees happiness and success.

I would like to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers . The last CT scan in late January showed cancer involvement in my lymphatic system and many nodules in my lungs with some considered pre-cancerous . I have been on two chemotherapy drugs and a target drug, which all are given by infusion . I am Stage 4 . I have very long days at the Duke Cancer Center . I live 65 miles away in Virginia . I am getting a 3D Ct scan this coming Friday and are hoping for the best but prepared for the worst . I am spiritually in a great place . Hug your love ones and always tell them you love them . Peace be with all of you . ❤️❤️

The first time I heard of this song was on December 24th 1990 at JFK airport. I just landed to the soil of United States. Along with immense curiosity also came with a lot of fear and anxiety. Remember heard this song was playing that grabbed my heart, even though I didn’t understand the words, but it was so soft and beautiful, a sense of love simply flowed through my heart. It took years for me to find out the name of this song and who were the singers. I will never forget that moment.

One of the best songs ever written by one of the very best song writers ever, and sung here in one of the best music videos ever recorded. This song is magnificent. Very complicated technically and musically. The harmonies are exquisite, perfect. A very sad thing that Barry is the only one still living. The likes of these musical geniuses will never be seen or heard ever again.
Still listening as writing. Tears in my eyes because of the message and my experiences, but also of joy as this song talks to ALL of my senses. Okay, back for another listen. Never tire of this.

I'm 18 and I am listening to this beautiful music thanks to my Spanish teacher that always would say " Let me show you guys some actually good music" and this would be one of the songs he would always put. He played it too much it sticked on to me and I love this song.

I was 18 when this song came out. What a masterpiece. And oh, the Bee Gees, unparalleled in lyric writing, composition, and singing. As the world lost Maurice and Robin (and Andy), I can't help but look at those proficient musicians in the orchestra, either young in age or middle aged at the time. It's been 43 years. I'm sure many of them have also finished their time on this earth. Their contribution to this beautiful recording is also appreciated.

Apparently there were 27 different vocal tracks layered together in this song. The overall tonal quality and the "tremolo" effect sounds very much like Barry's voice, so I imagine that he formed the majority of the final mix.

I can’t remember where I heard this from but it made me come to the music video and now it’s a song I listen to when I just need to shake a certain feeling off. I've been listening to this maybe 30 Times in four days and analysing what this song means to me. First of all, very few songs start via chorus and if so, it tell's that composer(s) have had their mind very clear message for listeners. It's not necessary in purpose, but when a song developes this amount of emotions, their own feeling must have been right from the beginning. This song has many very deep levels of meanings and chorus is a statement and same time a prayer for the people/humanity, not only between man&woman, for the sake of love. It's a statement against hedonism and very real in these days, you know.
Interestingly, Barry and his macigal performance clues this same message to be also between man and woman, respect and adore the love between you, cause that is all that matters. There is so much emotions in Barry's vocals; praise of love, longing for my woman, tenderness and easiness of what love and relationship should be and what's most astonishing to me is that, this song is actually a cry for true love & caring of each other.
If anybody doesn't feel the same, it's okay and when I speak about love between woman and man, it doesn't mean that I'm against of rainbow couples. Truly, I'm not. I just tried to analyze the song thinking that particular time it was made. Today it's different, but the message is still clear: Respect love ❤️

Nasci em 1962 . Lembro que ganhamos um LP em 1972 aproxim. do Pao de Acucar e tinha uma musica do Bee Gees .Massachutes e uma das que gosto e mesmo as dos anos 90 sao cada vez melhores.
