I was born in 1999 and just recently started listening to the Bee Gees. I can’t begin to explain how blown away I am at their genius. When they were my age, they were already writing and performing such intricate, beautiful music for people of every age... no computers, no shortcuts, just them and a couple of instruments. That is pure talent and success well deserved!!! The harmonizing at 12:10 is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. They are what the world needs today, not any of that vulgar, overly sexualized, classless garbage. I think my generation would be wowed by the talent of artists like the Bee Gees, if they’d only give older music a try. I wish people would pick to idolize people like Maurice, Robin and Barry not only as artists, but as humans, and stop giving useless parasites like the Kardashians all the attention. What’s happened to the world? More young people need to start listening to music like this; I promise you the world would then just be a little bit better!!! Oh I wish I wish...
You just put my thoughts into words. I was born in the 90s and I so agree with you. When I fell into the Bee Gees rabbit hole early this year, that's when I noticed the difference between the quality of their songs and of today's mostly computer generated songs. Nothing beats the sound of real instruments, including voices. The most interesting part for me is that I listen/watch more their live performances which is something that is not so pleasing with today's pop acts.
Keep listening. U won’t ever find another group of guys even Andy gone way to soon. They all were so talented since little kids. I’ve listened to them over 50 years now the best I’ve ever heard and listen to them everyday. A group U will never get tired of. ☮️
Been a fan of theirs since the late 60s. Some of their live performances are better than the recorded versions. Great songwriters, great singers and producers. Also, watch some of their interviews and you will find them always polite and humorous.

1975 was the great comeback year for the Bee Gees after 3 years playing in cabarets and half empty theaters. The changing music genres of the early 70s reduced them to being an oldies/ nostalgia group. The Bee Gees new R/B soul/ disco sound found a huge market in the US with great songs like "Nights on broadway" "Jive Talking" and the "Maincourse" album in 1975 and then the phenomenal "Saturday nigh fevert" soundtrack in 1978.

Robin Gibb had a beautiful voice. I listen to all his songs on a loop because it makes me feel good.
Music does not get much better than this. These guys are musical majesty. And bonus - all that lush, gorgeous Robin... quite apart from his insanely amazing voice he's an absolute dream. I lost my heart to him so long ago...but that's fine with me. He can keep it. :) xxx
As a lifelong bee gee fan I must say, this is my most favorite compliment of all time! Robin is smiling in spirit that you said that, and so beautifully 😍
@@lenford9645 Awww, thanks so much for that! It's very kind of you to say. I adore Robin and I'm always going on and on about him in comment sections, so I'm happy to know that not everything I say is annoying the fans due to my over the top Robin devotion. I certainly hope he is smiling. I owe him at least one for the millions he's given me. :)
@@juanita6479 Oh thanks Juanita. I'll keep up my Robin squee then! Robin is adorable, and at the same time, he's also so colossally hot he makes me feel like I'm going to burst into flames any second. I love me some Robin yumminess, but you have to be careful with that! I'm just off to hang out in the chest freezer for a few minutes... :)
He has had my heart since 1967 ❤️
@@Annie-49 , I love Robin too. He is my favorite. They are all gorgeous, but he is super special. His voice is amazing. ❤️🌹❤️
This special with the wonderful voices of Bee Gees is PURE GOLD!
Love those snazzy pants Maurice is wearing pretty cool. OMG Barry so damn handsome here.
Grease was very well done as well as many other albumns very versatile group of musicians n family.
@@darrellmortensen9805 Yes Barry Gibb wrote the Grease theme.
This is wonderful! I just want to say that it's a good thing that Robin didn't have to dance for his supper. Bless his heart! Miss them all.
You Don’t Know What It’s like, performed with Helen Redding is pure magic. My parents woke me up out of a sound sleep to watch this when I was 5. I’m 50 now and have loved them since I was 4. Fan girl much?
To love Somebody?
That's awesome!

At any given time in the world a Bee Gee's song, or one they wrote for another artist, is playing somewhere. Let that sink in for a minute.
Bee gees, realmente incrivel grandioso show como sempre.barry meu lindo teamo. 2024,
OMG!! Only Mo can make me laugh during one of their songs! How my Dad loved these Brothers & their music. He listened to their music, almost every evening as I was growing up into my teen yrs.. With my Dad gone since 1992, I continue to listen to their music everyday so I can feel my Dad is always with me. I will forever love the Bee Gees & their Bro Andy who left us way too soon with his angelic voice.
What an incredible treat- the Bee Gees singing with Helen Reddy!
Barry is the best
No robin xxx
Robin beautiful voice and song
I miss those days, such uplifting and beautiful, I'm 62 now and this puts a tear in my eye.
I just well up with tears in listening to and watching the Bee Gees. Such God given talent…the best band and harmonies known to man! How blessed we are.
My best to Barry and his family in living out their lives after such tragic loss! 🙏❤️
bravo Maurice with falsetto in second voice...
💕yes

Bravissimo Maurice indimenticabili tutti i fratelli gibb😍
Bee Gees are ICONS, Gifted, Authentic, humble, talented, generous donating to UNICEF BOSNIA children more, unique, charming... magnificent magical voices.
Bee Gees jamas pasaran de moda aunque solo quede uno siguen vignettes.
Wow!what amazing talent the Bee Gees were.
This is a fabulous bit of film from their Main Course era. My favourite Bee Gee album. Such an exciting period of time, when they came back into the focus of the music media. 😊
Robin may have the unique voice but Barrys voice is powerful and the way he stand is so strong like he is the pillar of the band.
Loved BeeGees. Barry my fav.
Mo was great at whatever he did💔😢💔😢Missed forever
Огромное спасибо за видео❤❤Получила огромное удовольствие...Это лучшая группа всех времен и народов,они это доказали своим вживую,без фонограммы и поправок...Кто слушает Би Джиз--у того отличный вкус.❤❤❤
A writer, a performer, a musician Barry Gibb took himself and brothers to places they deserved years before it happened!
Maurice has a great falsetto voice as does Barry and Robin Fantastic my favorite band EVER!!!
RIP MAURICE
RIP ROBIN
RIP ANDY
GONE WAY TO SOON!
My all-time favorite TV program, used to fake sleep until my parent went to bed and I'd sneak out to watch this Midnight special, I believe in was on ABC channel. Then, we had real singers singing live, with no phony lip sinking or heavy alteration of natural voices, like today's musical idiots.
Lol I did the exact same thing because my father wouldn't let me stay up late to watch it!
My mom let me stay up. Couldn't believe it, but she herself was a music lover-so she got it. MS and Dr. Who!
Mo n Rob💗..sooooo gorgeous n young!....🌺looked so much alike...
Love Mo🥰❤️💞
💕❤️
I an SO glad I got to see these guys at least once - on their Main Course Tour. Changes your life.
Wow! Great singers great harmonies, great talent. You are sorely missed.
Lovely Bee Gees Forever
my life has always been accompanied with music from the BeeGees..from the time i was 7 years old to even today. Thankyou !!
How funny! I was born in 1959 and just now started really appreciating The Bee Gees!! My husband recorded their music and played it and I thought some of it was the Beatles. Then one day I just focused in on the Bee
Gees. I don’t know why and I fell in love with them!! I especially love Robin but they are all handsome and talented. You are so right. There will be no other group like them!! Thank you for expressing your thoughts that so many of us can relate too 🌺
Never saw Maurice Gibb sing the ad libs in Nights On Broadway before.
One of the top 3 bands to ever grace the music scene. Absolutely extroidinary voices. Brings back so many memories. Legendary.
It seems like yesterday, I stayed up late just to see these guys. The best group ever!
I love this song and the way Barry picks the guitar!!
Look at Robin Gibb dancing he's enjoying himself 👍👍👍👍👍👍
He was so hot back then 💖
This is the healthiest that Robin looked. What happened to him?
@@Juamo-tn8we his wife didn't allow him him to see the kids for something like 5 or 6 years,,.,and then a bitter divorce followed,...He was only 30 years old at the time.....he lost a ton of weight and might of been taking amphetamines for a long period of time,.....he claims it came close to destroying him.....he was hospitalized a couple of times, too for exhaustion .....he had a rough personal life...and unfortunately, it took its toll.....and later on in life,,, he came down with cancer... my guess, it may have manifested when he was in his early to mid fifties.....
He eventually reunited with his kids from the first marriage......he remarried in 1985 and had a son from that union.........
@@kaythomas3171 about that reunion whit his children i was wondering how hold were they...
There's a beautyful song by Spencer Gibb called 'empty room' which lyrics could be someway referred to his dad , at least this is what i thought when i first heard it.
Robins voice just gives me chills, perfectly amazing.
Such great music from a great era.
I love these wonderful brothers, and of course lovely Andy. Very special and close family. Wish we could have these times back once more. Better days.
Helen Reddy to be a man was nice looking as a younger woman. The Bee Gees were/are, amazing. No lip synching, no auto-tune, just the real deal. They never get old and never will.
I didn't know it then, but those of us who were around back then and were able to watch the Midnight Special every week were so lucky!! Everybody came on that show and the Bee Gees were my favorite. Thanks for keeping it going!

I loved Barry already in 1967 for his voice and incredible handsome looks, such a beauty, such a power!
And here I am in 2024, and I can't believe how wonderful he was, performing with his brothers, everybody doing a wonderful job! They are pure music, pure rhythm, so focused. Thank you, Bee Gees 💗
Nights On Broadway , genius, the vocals give me chills!
BEE GEES...F-O-R-E-V-E-R!!!!!!!!!!!

Robin is a *dream* guy, of course but☝️ Mo and the way he moves playing that bass! too sexy 🥵
You're right about that! I always thought Mo had the most rhythm by far, and he had a very sexy way of thumping that bass!😉
I am Crazy HUGE Robin fan,... but we gotta give Mo his Sexxxy-moves credit!lol.😜
Mo was incredible in this performance, the falsetto. While Barry was deep and funky… loved these bee gee times….
Maurice always said he never sang falsetto. He had a head voice which produced the same effect. Amazing.
Robin is my favourite Bee Gee. He was so charismatic and eccentric and had such a beautiful unique voice
This is pure gold! The Brothers Gibb, the best part of my formative high school years! Huge fangirl of all their stuff, 🤩 amazing.
Great memories of watching the Midnight Special, couldn't miss it.
Pure God given talent to the max!
12:27 🥹 I love this moment, when Maurice was singing like that 🤗💙🎶
Gorgeous Robin.
