Glad you enjoyed the course! Im going to use it a lot as a warm up before I play. Dialiig in those wedge shots are so key in golf.
We have crocodiles here as well, though gators are much more common.
Hey Joe, another great video - thank you! I noticed you line up your putts with the line on the ball sometimes and sometimes you don't. I do the same on the course when I putt, but how are you doing this exactly with or without the alignment bar by the flag in GSPro?

Hey Joe, I have to say when I heard your introduction to this course. I was really thinking this was a course for me. After watching you play it and seeing those greens I’m afraid there wouldn’t be much enjoyment, more like torture. I could look at it and just decide this isn’t for scoring, this is for practice and I can just tin up my way around the course if I have to.
I’d love to see some designer put together some courses like this except with greens that have some modulation for a challenge but a large enough for the mere mortal to have a chance at staying on the green from the tee box. Then create tee boxes at various distance on each hole (something like #1 being 17, 34, 51, 68, 85 #2 being 18 36 54 72 90 and so on). I could put a 4some of players in GSPro, one on each tee, and have an awesome practice experience. Any designers interested? Look if practicing this part of the game is good for JLAG how much more benefit could be for the rest of us…. Hey Joe - be our advocate 😊
Yes I totally understand that I'm thinking a restructure of the holes when you select blue and Sunday pins on the JLG practice facility might achieve this and potentially moving the tee box to aore central area. I'll have a think!
@@JLagGOLF You may not have looked lately but I have been spending a lot of time on the JLG CHIPPING Skills Test and the bump and run. Love them both (except that 17yd flop over the sand trap - can’t execute that in my basement 😆 )
If I can become more proficient on those shots this winter I think I could knock off 4 or maybe more strokes on my round by mid summer.
I am wondering if maybe there could be problems with property rights so the names can’t be used?
With gspro that's usually the case. That's why you won't find TPC named courses or some other popular courses named on there.
Are you going to soundproof the sim room for some late night hitting?
I have though and talked about that sooooo much. I want to but I'm worried even if I do it and spend the time and money what if it doesn't work 🤣 then I have invested all that time and money and am in the same situation.
@JLagGOLF it's awkward because of the high and low frequencies from hitting the ball to hitting the screen but can be sorted. Find out what they're hearing first as your current insulation could be already negating a lot of the sound.

Joe, im looking to buy a laptop to run GS Pro on ML2PRO. Can you advise recommended specs including Ram, storage, as well as graphics card etc? That would be very helpful. Thanks!

Hey Mick this is a question perfect for the Facebook group 👍 there are a lot of knowledgeable people on there. For me I wouldn't be getting a laptop now for GS Pro the courses are just becoming Soo good and beautiful but put a lot of stress on your computer. GS Pro has recommended specs on their website for PCs. If you had to get a laptop again depending on if you're running 1080p or 4k.... I'd be going for one that has at least a 4070 graphics card in it.
There are a lot of variables and questions though that is probably best for the Facebook group
Thanks Joe. Unfortunately anything better than a 3050 or 4050 is out of my price range. Maybe I will have to settle for running at 1080 instead of 4k

It's currently in Beta so you can access it is you have the beta server on your account or you can wait until it's released on the main server soon 👍👍

That 17th at TPC Sawgrass sure looks a lot different than it does on other course simulations I have seen. The green seemed smaller and the edges were all sloped steeply into the water. Is this supposed to be actual reproductions or did they modify them to make them more difficult. The TPC Sawgrass games and simulations I have played have a much larger green and not nearly as severe slopes on the sides. Seems off somehow.
Yes it's inspired from those holes but he has made them harder and has exaggerated the slopes 👍
