Only thing I see is the carry distances seem to move apart the higher the club. Driver seems about 10yds different.

Great video as always Joe. For an indoor sim, would you go with mlm2pro or the square? I feel rapsodo has to start stepping up their updates and start working a little harder to keep up with the square at this point.

This is reassuring. What i wish i could be reassured about would be the club data.

Great test. It reinforces my view that there's nothing to touch the Square for value for money as long as you don't need outdoor use.

Just played my first round on my Square LM this past weekend and absolutely loving the addition of PIX balls and Awesome Golf. Do you know if premium balls with square pattern stickers will read more accurately than PIX?

Hopefully they keep the gspro connection free. That's what draws me to this launch monitor. No subscription fees is the key. I'd rather pay $1500 for this monitor with no fees than them introduce a subscription.

It's strange that you can get club data but not club speed!

Your video work has gotten as good as your swing. 168 ball speed, the tightest little draw for extra rollout, center of the fairway… the stuff dreams are made for most golfers

Hi Joe- what resolution and gaming setup do you have with this? I have an R50 and next purchase when I came afford is gaming pc and gspro but the graphics aren’t as good on your video as I have been told about (everyone online raving about). Don’t get me wrong they are decent but I thought they beat everyone else hands down- I’ve been going to an indoor place and trackmans sim software was tremendous- it seemed more real than these images- when you ion in it still looks more from a computer

I know this is an older post but if you happen to see this....I bought the unit and find that the laser is not aligned with the sight line in the Rhapsodo, close to a ball width off when the unit is the recommended distance from the ball. Is this typical? I found that the laser can be focused but I can't seem to adjust the direction is points to improve the alignment. I suppose it should be close enough but I'm also dealing with "no-read" issues and trying to eliminate potential sources of error. Thanks.

Hello Joe, keep up the good work, your videos are becoming the king of golf simulation with your honest reviews. I agree with the proposed top 10 features, since this video, there was a huge update done by Rapsodo; how many of them have been done and how well? Are the updates in accordance with you requested? A follow-up video would be appreciated.

I would like to see the LM's have the option of hardwire PC connection. I played with my buddies MLM2Pro last evening and it was still unstable, lots of dropped shots and delays. I wonder if a hard wire connection would fix this. You mention your ceiling is 8ft 7". I am surprised. I'm only 5'8" and I need at least 9ft to comfortably swing a driver. You look like you're at least 6' tall. You should definitely come up with a pay per lesson model for your subscribers. Send you a vid and you provide insight and recommendation for drills to improve a particular part of the game. Similar to a particular phone app that's out there, but you would offer this to your channel subs.

Joe, If you have any pull with Square could you see if these items could be implemented? I did send a list to Square support, but I'm sure they are getting many suggestions. I like the updates so far. BTW, I am able to get spin numbers using the Callaway Chrome Truvis (blue/dark red pattern) when I used the advanced ball setting. I would like to see some additional user improvements on the Square courses: an unlimited mulligan setting; a player setting where the tee location & professional/amateur setting can be permanently set (not sure but I've heard the prof setting gives a more realistic ball flight based on the strike) - they go back to the default setting before playing a course; look into the green stimp pace- it seems too fast & slick for the stimp setting; retain the ball data after each shot - they display briefly and are really hard to see because the text is so small; I don't see a lie display where the ball rests after a shot (other than rough & bunker) & not sure if every shot is based on an ideal flat surface; I can't find a way to see the scorecard during play. Where does the square golf stop reading the ball? Is it set to far backwards because it reads to the same distance forwards ? I’m just wondering if the camera will be adjusting the aperture to match the light that the ball is sitting in, and then when it reaches out past the light it’s too dark to continue an accurate read for spin and spin axis

If you get interference with he GC3, and I expect you will, you could experiment by doing a head to head with your MLM2 with RPT balls. I read someone had success with the RPT balls and Square LM after the last update. Apparently can also now use Chrome soft truvis balls.

Thanks for the video Joe This unit is so good I'm very happy with it now the pix balls are measured. I hope the rest of the launch monitor brands are paying attention to what square are doing here. It's great for the consumer

I bought some PIX balls, and they’re adding 2-3 mph to my distance. It got me wondering if the results would be similar in real life. After watching the video, it seems pretty close. Thanks for the detailed video as always.. love this channel, super reliable!👍👍

Grear work, Joe! Really appreciate all the work you do to put these videos out. It's great to see comparisons between different lm's. I got my SQ lm Friday. With this video, I'm confident I made the right choice to enter the LM and GSPro world. I think from what I'm hearing and seeing with the Square people, the SQ lm is going to get better and better....
