How far are you in Tears Of The Kingdom so far and how are you enjoying it?
3 temples down and I haven't had this much fun in a forst play through of a game since breath of the wild
@@fuzzykittytmjeb6958 same
30 hours, just enough main quests to get the glider, everything else has been side quests and exploration. most of it has been spent around Hateno so far. I haven't picked my jaw off the floor.
I'm guessing it's the greatest game of all-time to me. Thankfully it looks like it'll take me a few hundred hours to confirm this.
Only have unlocked 4 towers so not far at all. Loving it but feel overwhelmed. And man I die ALOT.
I've spent so much time exploring up and down everywhere I could. Haven't done any temples, don't have any upgrades or fairies unlocked
Couple extra tips about the dogs - just about any food will do the same, so might as well use apples or something you have a lot of. And the treasure they find isn't actually spawned until after you feed them, so no use in trying to find it on your own beforehand.
Just found this out earlier I was trying to get the ember trousers from the fierce diety quest cave I opened the chest then it closed again and had the trousers only after I fed the dog
@@Rascalli bro tf you talking about, I literally got the ember trousers on my first chest without the dog
Are you trying to tell me i have been wasting prime meat?
Are you trying to tell me i have been wasting prime meat?
Yeah I use apples....about 4 should do it.
A very, very, very useful tip: The Octoroks on Death mountain can repair almost any piece of equipment in the game. Simply drop your almost broken weapon infront of them, walk away, let them suck it up, and they'll spit it back not only fully repaired, but they'll also improve the modifier on it (or reroll it if you already had a yellow modifier). It's also an excellent way to get 5-Shot on your Lynel Bows.
This specifically does not work on the Champion weapons, but it does work on everything else. I've made myself a 118 Attack Silver-Lynel-Gerudo spear, and you better believe that I will never let it break.
It can repair the champion weapons if you fused it to another weapon or shield. And if you want to detach the weapon. Pelison (the goron kid in Tarry Town); will do that for only 20 Rupees. Very easy to do
@Cyrikyty I figured out you don’t have to wait for them to spit it out you can go ahead and whack them before they spit it out
@@kyledavid9543Yes, you don't even have to wait for the sparkle. As soon as they suck it up you can kill them
@@aozf05 Yeaa it’s so handy dont have to worry about your weapon smacking you in the face
You can up at 132
Some additions and a few corrections to these tips:
1. Fusing a material to a weapon doesn't _restore_ any durability. To put it simply, each weapon has a set amount of extra durability that can be used if you fuse a material onto it. It gets a lot more complicated than that, though, I'd recommend watching Croton's video on this if you're interested in how exactly fusion and durability work together.
2. It's not only weapons that add double the attack power when fused to a Gerudo weapon, materials also work too. You can actually add a whole 110 more attack if you use the highest damage fuse material in the game, Silver Lynel horns.
3. Pristine weapons can only spawn if you've broken the decayed version of that weapon. And even once you've gotten the pristine version of a weapon, you can still only get the pristine version from those statues in the Depths. (or from amiibos)
4. Material descriptions will _always_ tell you the special effect they add when cooked, if they do have one.
5. It's not exactly _blunt_ weapons that you need to break armor, it's just any weapon that has a material that makes it a hammer or any Goron weapon. Rocks, Moblin horns, and Horrorblin horns will make any weapon a hammer.
6. Crystallized Charges that allow you to upgrade your battery can also be obtained by defeating any boss in the Depths, which give you 20 of them upon defeat. I'd also recommend using your Large Zonaites to buy more of them instead, because regular ones are able to be used for other very useful things while the large ones serve pretty much no other use.
Edit: Someone just corrected me on this! Apparently you need Large Zonaite for actually quite a lot of armor upgrades. These include the upgrades for the Zonaite set, Miner's set (the glow set), and the Divine Beast helms.
Thank you for leaving this comment so I didn’t have to
Another tip about armored enemies. Fusing zonai cooking pots to your arrows breaks them pretty easily.
Be careful about recklessly spending your large zonanites, they are actually used In some (One?) Armor upgrade!
@@raevalentine9002 Oh, really?
I didn't know that, thank for the information!
Get yourself a giant boomerang and fuse a beam emitter to it for a laser boomerang that affects a wide area with damage. Great for groups of small enemies. Also just super fun to watch.
Flame and frost emitters are better in my opinion. As well as Lizalfos tails.
@@dylanpoynor2318 Yeah tried various emitters on them a few days ago, and the frost one is definitely op
Finding out that the light roots in the depths have a shrine directly above them on the surface was interesting
And the other way around too, all 120 surface shrines have a lightroot right below them!
There is only 1 shop that lowers prices after a side quest. It's the one shown that also outright tells you she hiked up the price because of side quest reasons. Not exactly hidden...
Also, she hikes the price up to 5,000 rupees (I believe) rather than 2,000 before you complete the quest.
I believe the goron that sells ore at Goron City also overprices his stock until you finish the fire temple.
@@vinicius401 those prices stay the same. Even if you have infinite rupees it is not worth it to buy.
What i like to do with the midair wing, is activate tulin, but dont gust yet.. then, pull the wing from your inventory, and immediately gust, and you land on it!
Stal- enemies can be instant killed by throwing dazzlefruit at them
Actually you don’t have to wait for a blood moon to refresh the crystallize charge store. Just port to a nearby stable or your house and sleep till morning. Port back to the store and it refreshes that way.
1:20 that rocket flying surf is something I wouldve never thought of
For the dog just stand near it for 10 seconds so you only have to use 3 pieces of food.
Here's one that I haven't seen around anywhere. If you look at a surface shrine (that's not in one of the towns, they act different) and you press down on the d-pad, there will be a light root at that exact location who's name is the reverse of the shrine above it. This will make for easy late game shrine hunting, as you can go to the depths and see where they are, for the most part.
Also (might be a bit late as I’ve recently found out when messing around) those really high walls in the depths you can’t get above no matter what are basically where water in the overland (or whatever you call it) is, so having every single tower completed will make it easy exploring the depths (though you probably already explored everywhere in the depths by now lol)
haha teh glider wing device trick is dope
So, the figure I saw underneath the Great Deku Tree in the Woodland area chasm was a statue with a good weapon?! I thought it was Ganon or something and avoided it 😅
😅😅😅 definitely NOT ganon possibly phantom ganon. But not ganon ganon
Great video some interesting stuff thank you! Really enjoying the game so far only about 10 hours in but taking my time and really enjoying it!
I could’ve swore they explained how the dogs work?
Thanks for the flurry swap trick. Helm of yunobo helps him oneshot the bokoblin's armor! Also. Break apart elc/fire/ice rods into gems with the goron kid npc in tarrey town.
"Zonai Depository" ??? I just call it "the gumball machine" LOL
Quick peice of advice for players, do not use your small zonite pieces to buy charges. You need those small pieces for the auto-build ability. It may not seem important but eventually when you are building mechanical minions you will not want to have to find all the parts, all the time.
Kinda funny but for a bit I didn't understand what you were talking about when you said "dispensers". In Japan these sorts of machines are called "gashapon" and usually dispense plastic capsules with small toys inside. So I've just been thinking about them as gashapon machines.
Id say dont fuse weapons upon weapons... much better to fuse monster parts with weapons.
oh btw if u sprint and pull out your bow like till you see the amount of arrows and the three lines and close it u will run infinitely like if u time it right idk if it works with all updates
Stealing this from another comment. For some puzzles like the one at 9:18, you can fuse one of the pins to your weapon and then throw it at the target
Great video!
Thank you!
I wouldn't rely on the blood moon for zonite to respawn. Certain items don't respawn after a blood moon. Ore is one of those. Weapons are the only thing, aside from enemies, that respawn after a blood moon.
The only time you get extra durability is onethe first fuse the next ones don’t add durability
7:32 You can also use construct parts
When fighting the air walking magicians attach a zonite mirror to your shield and it stun locks them in the overworld most times. Weather permitting.
I hadn't unlocked it by then but I'll have to try it!
If you can separate their gems from the weapons may be a good non glitch farm.
@@Fyxxterzc in tarry town, you can pay 20 rupies to separate them
One hit with the opposite element is enough to kill them. Wether you throw it, or attach it to an arrow, that’s up you.
@@DNMEBOY that only works with fire and ice, for the electric one you still have to defeat it
8:56 Also, almost every enemy in The Depths drops Zonaite (rarer Large Zonaite)
I marked all the camps for Z as I explored the depths; My battery is maxed at 200 hours and I am still getting more so you don’t really need to rush. I rarely ever use 50% of my battery
How did you get the Triforce glider?
Great video
thank you good sir!
Tip 2 is completely wrong. Fusing anything gives the base weapon 25 extra durability (*certain weapons get less), that cannot be refreshed infinitely. If you fuse 2 weapons, both weapons' durabilities are used at the same time, but only the base gets the bonus durability.
One more thing the game doesn’t tell you that really annoyed me is the inverted controls for the zonai wings. As someone who does not play flying games, I was expecting that up on the joystick would either make the wing go up, or make it go forward and you tilt the camera up to turn it upward (similar to how other vehicles work). Either way would’ve made sense to me.
This is not the case, however, and it took over an hour for me to figure out why I couldn’t gain altitude during the Moragia fight, and by that time, I was frustrated to the point of crying, because I had tried every troubleshooting method I knew, and none of the guides mentioned the inverted controls, so I thought my game was permanently bugged.
If the controls for the zonai wings had been mentioned in-game, or even in the guides for that boss fight, it would’ve saved me a lot of time and stress.
Lel took you an hour to figure out the controls were inverted
@@God_of_Bacon yeah, and I found out by accident through frustrated flailing
Oh wow! I never noticed this problem because I play with inverted controls normally, so it was as expected. The fact that this is switched even if you have normal controls is insane! Especially as it is used in a story boss fight! All games nowadays should be able to completely remap the controller for every kind of gameplay and this sort of thing should never be a problem, at the very least use normal controls if they have it set that way and inverted if they have it set that way.... I hate when a vehicle is set to only use normal controls even though the normal camera can be inverted, which I have come across in other games, so I feel your pain, its the worst.
If you were in a plane, the control stick would be in an upright position, much like how it is in ToTK. Link even moves the stick according to how you move the stick.
From that perspective, pushing up on the control stick is pushing forward on the stick, and it doesn't make sense that pushing forward would make the plane go up, while pulling toward you would make it go down.
@@jojough8283 true, but I don’t play flying games, and I expected it to work the same as all the other vehicles in the game. I’m not saying it’s bad controls, But I think it should’ve been mentioned in the tutorial
Lol! I’m on 1.1.1 so I just bought the armor at 5K per item because I just duped the diamonds. Liked and Subbed!
Even if you buy the armors at the upsell price, they’ll refund you the difference if you complete their quest
Have had the game for a while now and I'm still nervous about taking on a gleeok lol
You'll need to be stocked up on a lot of arrows and some good bows. It's a repeated process of getting headshots and hitting it while it's down. During the final phase, they'll fly really high and do some special attack. Either wait this out, or use the attack to get up to it. They'll produce strong updrafts or drop something that you can rewind back up.
So, I did find some non decayed weapons in the Depths. I took some of them but left others there as I didn't have room in my inventory and they weren't better than anything I had at the time.
Do I still enable the non decayed versions to spawn even if I try to pick them up and end up leaving them there? Or do I actually need to take it in my inventory?
I believe you do enable them to spawn even if you don't pick them up
Any weapon you pick up and break can be spawned
Your understanding of yhe durability system isn't complete: weapons can get a maximum of extra durability (for most weapons it's 25, some get less) and when that maximum has been consumed, you won't gent any extra back. This makes fusing weapons to weapons actually an awful suggestion as materials will always last longer and most won't get destroyed just by usage
I literally just fed a dog 20 pieces of meat and nothing happened 😢
Using the charges for moe capsules isn't something I thought of so big thanks for that
But isn't that what the game tells you to do...
I knew all if these already
You earned a subscribe from me
Thank you so much!

WAIT A MINUTE! HOw did you get to play as TOON LINK???
Toon Link is an armor set you can get by doing certain puzzles. If you want to know: One of the pieces is on the thundra plateau. In the room with the chest will also be a stone that tells you hints about the other parts.
He sounds like the “I swear I’m going to break my monitor” guy
lmao 💀
2:44 is that sword available in the game?
Yes, you can get it after completing the thyphlo ruins quest. You need to unlock all the summons first before completing it though
Is that mask in the thumbnai ingame or just photoshop?
its in game
It’s in the game there’s a full set called Evil Spirit
@Captain Fordo it's called the Mystic Armor Set...
But the 52 defense is photo shopped since you can’t upgrade the set idk why he did that tho
It's in game no amiibo required
I subscribed but politely TOTK content isn't risky. Or maybe it is since everyone is doing it. Idk you're probably the expert on interactions but sounds low risk to me.

Good information, but people aren't subscribing because you are literally YELLING at your viewers. I got through about 6 minutes of the yelling and was like, I'm outta here.
