#finalfantasyxvi #ending #reaction - Ігри
My goodness. I haven't cried this hard since The Last Guardian.... Until next time, Valisthea. I'll miss you. 🥹❤️
3000+ games played, never seen an ending as amazing as this. Masterpiece, game of the year and the best ending in video game history.
ive seen you comment in almost every FFXVI ending reaction with the same message 🤣
lol no
FInal Fantasy has always been about the story and the journey through it. This is by far one of the greatest FF of all times.
Agreed, absolutely love it!
People with little brothers like myself got hit hard by the ending.
Yup, I have younger siblings and... Yeah.... 🥹
When one journey ends....new game plus begins
Same thought 😂
This ending made me *deep* cry. You know the ones. Those ugly, unflattering cries. As someone without any siblings, I’ve never been so invested in a story of brotherhood as this one, and it’s fitting that it would be Final Fantasy to give me that experience.
They have some good writers on CBU3. This one struck a chord with me, definitely. They wrote some other stuff that definitely got fat tears out of me... ( specifically Seto, ffxiv )
Goddamn. Saddest death in the game for me is definitely Dion. Dude just tried so hard to be good.
You know, it didn't hit me at the moment because I kept expecting him to show up again but... Yeah, his death and everything that happened to Dion is really tragic.
Literally broke me too, just can’t stop watching it and crying everytime i watch it
I cried again while editing the video 🥹🥹
Before the final battle, I was expecting one of the trio to die (specifically Joshua) but not all of them. I do hope Clive was alive though. I now feel empty after finishing this great game.
I feel you man…what a game and hopefully DLC in the near future.
I had a similar reaction. I really want that platinum trophy and was so ready to start up another run on FF mode but I can't get myself to do it just quite yet. Really brutal ending and need some time to process it before I go back to it again.
Game is a masterpiece such a mature moving story with well developed characters. I would love some leviathan dlc or for cbu3 to tackle ff17 as well.
Just finished the game. Holy, this ending. They really did a great job with this game
It's honestly a fantastic ending. I'm glad you enjoyed it Daniel!
Easily my goty, now we just have to wait for some DLC.
Hopefully soon!
Love how a good amount of the ending is left to interpretation like who wrote the book, could have been Clive but also Harpocrates, Cyril from the Undying etc.
Overall, it's definitely in my Top 5 FF now
Agreed, though I personally believe it was Clive somehow taking Joshua's alias, like he did with Cid... But we may never know and that's fine! Top 5 as well for me!
i lost my little brother 3 years ago so this ending extra hurts
I'm sorry for your loss. I can't imagine losing my younger brother.
Sorry for your loss... Wishing the best for you!
Cried 2 weeks ago. Now I'm crying again😢😢
I'm sorry 🥹
Hmm now that i think about it the ending with the book could be an opening for a ff tactics game
Congratulations
Golden Joystick Awards 2023
Best Lead Performer Winner - Ben Starr 😄
Absolutely deserved. I hope he also gets his win at TGA.
now we knows why they chose the name "Clive" because of the ending : C=see +Live, his fate in his name 🤣🤣🤣
but seriously joking aside the end is open to interpretation, all we see that Clive hand start to turn to stone also the same with Jill after destroying the mothercrystal of the iron kingdom, so both of them don't have much time left to live, so i can't help it but to think that they spent their last moment together...
also the sidequest with Jill and Hippocrates give a hint for the ending , if you paid attention to the ending Jill crying all night then sunrise she stopped and smiled then black screen and Clive says : "tus our Journey end", remind me of Clive and Jill in the flower scene "no matter how dark the night dawn will come and that you will come for me Clive" and near the end "i will come back, i promise, i love you".
as for the book in the post credit by "joshua rosfield" at first you think that joshua made it but i can say it could be that Clive wrote it and used Joshua name to honour his memory there is a quest with Hippocrates where Clive say : "i may start writing after the sword".., also maybe Clive and Jill had a son and named him Joshua and he who wrote the book about his father..
lol the joshua baby scene fucked me up
It destroyed me
You can't ask for a better ending than this. Clive abolished slavery and magic, saved humanity and the world, and died on his own terms.
Best reaction thanks for sharing! Let’s hope CBU3 will make 16-2 or 17 next 🎉
Thank you 🥹
If you did the final sidequests for Harpocretes, Clive mentions he may one day take up the pen himself. While still ambiguous, it lends itself to the theory Clive survived and writes the entire story and uses the pen name of his brother
Yeah, I did every single quest and maxed out the thousand tomes. I had to cut out the conversation because of the music that played but I discussed it with chat. I want to believe it's a happy ending so I'll go with that. 🥹
Up there with FF IX as my favorite FF. Maybe, idk. Still processing the ending. It truly does have some of the best characters I've seen. Also, damn you, Torgal, I love you. lmao
Dude, so much to let sink in but I agree, this group of characters was honestly fantastic. I haven't cried like this in so long.
@ Ok, NOW I finished watching the video. The Torgal + Gav part is the one that gets me, lmao. The use of music was amazing. What a year for gaming, jeez.
People didnt realize, this was the creators feelings on the series itself.
In the back of my head I knew Dion wouldn’t live past this battle, but I didn’t expect to be so upset to see him die after such a valiant effort to protect them.
I really thought he'd survive 🥹
GOTY I don’t care what the Game Awards say
I'm in the same boat. Absolutely love this game.
What a great game. GOTY
Yes, skip to the ending cheat code.
Mfw, my own brothers name was Joshua.
