What’s makes the decision to keep or put back the fish? I’m pulling for you Tony, but the one that got away made me think about him bragging to the others. 😊
lol...like most things pond related, it depends on my goals. If I'm fishing for dinner, I'm more apt to keep fish. If I'm fishing to check growth progress, then I'll release.

The rod is a Duck Commander, and the reel is a Pflueger, with 6lb line. Maybe we can do a catch and clean video once the weather cools down. Good luck with your fishing!

Does the species of panfish make a difference in this instance or is it purely off of size of the fish?
Species mostly. The bluegill/redears are plentiful and self-sustaining, so I keep those for a meal!
