Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Queensland and sharing everything our beautiful State has to offer!
We try to post our videos weekly 😊

Glad to hear Sarah is doing so well. My son had a brain tumour and was treated at the Royal Brisbane as well a few years ago. He is doing well now, married and living up in Noosa

Best wishes. Glad your daughter is on the road to recovery.We do have a great health system here in Australia. My son had major heart surgery at 6 days old and doctors were amazing. He is now 13 and still going strong.enjoying your qld content. My son wants us to make the move up their one day. Still have to wait for a few years yet through.

Merry Christmas to you Beth and Paul, I'm so pleased to hear your daughter is recovering well. Good health is definitely the greatest Christmas gift of all ! 4 years ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and during the early days of my recovery I couldn't sleep so well. I would stay up through the UK night watching sport from Australia and New Zealand,the big bash and test matches from the gabba, SCG and MCG became a part of my recovery. It also inspired me to visit Australia one day, that day is getting nearer (8 weeks and 2 hours to take off😁).Thanks for your videos always very informative and a great help in planning my trip.

We are from the UK, and fell in love with the Sunny Coast when we visited friends there in 2018, and since then its been a long haul to try to sort out visas etc to make a permanent move, but we love watching your videos and the positivity from both of you helps us keep the dream alive!

Thanks Danielle 🤗 We’re so sorry to hear that your mother is going through a similar thing. We understand how difficult it is to watch someone you love go through this. Watching them suffer and feeling helpless and the uncertainty can be be very overwhelming at times. We have managed (so far) by talking openly with each other, asking the specialists every possible question and celebrating the small wins along the way. Watching funny movies like ‘The Castle’ or ‘National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation’ together with some popcorn has provided some much needed laughter! We hope and pray for your mother and Sarah that science will beat this insidious disease.
Nice to see you back. Will be travelling finally to Brisbane from Philippines on the night of Jan 1st. Also, it is indeed a good news that Sarah is doing fine.

Hi Beth and Paul, so glad to hear that your daughter Sarah is recovering well. We have been watching your channel now for over a year and we absolutely love all the places you have visited. We have lived on the Sunny Coast now since 2015, but just recently have moved to the hinterland in Nambour Heights. We are wondering if you will be visiting Nambour in your future travels. There is a very beautiful waterfall just down the end of our street called Cilento Park Waterfall. There are also many very unique and interesting ops shops in Nambour which you may be interested in. We are very keen to discover and learn more about our Nambour and it’s surrounds. We understand that there are plans in place to reactivate and revitalise the Nambour City centre. There is a very strong sense of community spirit here in Nambour. It’s very green and leafy and everyone is so friendly. We were wondering if you know of any plans in the pipeline to reactivate this lovely town.

We've read that there are long-term plans (10 to 15 years) to reinvigorate the town.
