We're Beth & Paul from Australia and we love living in Queensland!
When Paul retired in 2020, we set out on a 6-month South East Asia adventure.
This is when we began making little videos and posting them up to UA-cam.
However, our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic less than a month into our travels.
When the pandemic eased, we moved from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, where we live a peaceful lifestyle surrounded by nature, grow many of our own fruits and vegetables, and enjoy free-range eggs from our chickens and honey from our bees!
Nowadays, we mainly travel around our region to show you the natural beauty of South East Queensland. Our aim is to make you feel like you're exploring these places with us 🤗
We continue to make little videos and invite you to follow along as we make regular trips and take our cameras to share our way of life and travel experiences with you......
We aim to post our videos fortnightly 😊

So lovely to have you guys back. Wishing you and the family a much improved 2024. Your videos are incredibly informative and so well produced, they have provided us with a crucial virtual tour of the entire Sunny Coast. After 34 years in the UK my Melbournian wife, Bronwyn, has decided she would like to return home and we have chosen settle somewhere between Tewantin and Maloolaba but with a real preference for Buderim. We are coming over in about 5 weeks just to activate my permanent residents visa before returning to Hereford at the end of February to wait for the house sale. We have accommodation booked in Coolum Beach, Noosaville and Buderim to get a feel for the area and will certainly head for that chocolate factory in Maleny 😍 Meanwhile we are acclimatising with local sauna sessions wearing plastic rain ponchos 🥵 Kind regards, Bron & Trev.
Thanks so much Bron and Trev ❤️ We're so pleased our videos have been useful for you! We're sure you'll find somewhere between Tewantin and Mooloolaba....there's a lot of coastal towns in between! When we moved to Queensland from Metung, Victoria 20 years ago, we chose Buderim due to its proximity to the beach in Mooloolaba, the town of Maroochydore and the city of Brisbane. Buderim is close to quality schools, 3 hospitals, Sunshine Coast Uni and has great village-style shops at the top of the hill. We were very happy there for 7 years or so, but moved to Brisbane because Sarah was at Uni down there and we were able to secure good jobs in Brisbane (the Sunshine Coast was a lot smaller in those days). We think it's a great idea that you visit for a few weeks and stay in different areas....this will help you to work out where you want to be! Yes, don't miss the Maleny Chocolate Co! Ha ha, we laughed when we read how you were acclimatising to our weather...it sounds like you'll be acclimatised for our summers just fine 😁
So great to see you both again! My husband and I are now living here in Brisbane. It's been nearly 6 months now and we are loving it! Your films were such great soul food for those months of waiting to come over

We have now been here in SE Qld for just over twelve months and it’s thanks to your great videos that we have been able to find some fantastic places from Hervey Bay all the way down to Currumbin. I don't know if you can still remember me but just a life update from me, I didn't get to go back to Brisbane because my 2 visa applications were refused. I'm not sure if I'm going to try applying again but I really wanted to go back there, hopefully God willing. Anyway, I can't wait to see your upcoming adventures soon. Hello Paul in Motueka South Island 🤗 Yes! We do use the fireplace in winter 🔥 Whilst the days are mild and sunny, the nights can get cool (for Queenslanders)! The temperatures go down around 10c overnight and sometimes as low as 5c 🥶 We love using the fireplace….it makes our home feel cosy! Thanks for watching our videos 🤗
