As a former nurse, I say childbirth. Childbirth can get so painful, mothers don't even feel an episiotomy. I actually felt it when for the first time, I saw a doctor snip a mom's perineum. And the thing is a mom's pain doesn't end there. She has to bear with postpartum adjustments, esp if they had an episiotomy or a C/S.
Saying this also as a biological male.

Indeed, although u should always remember that there are more factors to it.
Firstly, a kick in the nuts might cause permanent damage!
Secondly, a woman has 9 months to prepare herself whilst a mans pain can be instant and unsuspected
Another thing to note is that women already lose much of their mobility due to their belly and so a woman cannot express herself in a way of movement but only by holding on to something and maybe screaming
I am a male and its a universal bro code that no matter the situation *YOU DO NOT KICK A MAN IN THE NUTS*
Small note that a womans pain cant be bypassed as its a part of life

Also, I think it’s important to remember the state of the body after all this.
Men are sore and fragile after this. They may need to rest as the physical response is whelming. But the pain doesn’t usually last for months.
Women have a hole ripped in their uterus, their perineal area is usually torn or cut, they did the equivalent of a full back lift, ab crunch and leg press for at least 5 hours straight with no break, they’re breasts are usually making milk which can be painful. This means they’re going to bleed for a few weeks and not be able to stand, sit, pee, or take a shower without intense stinging pain (imagine hand sanitizer on a paper cut but worse) for months, their chest is going to be sore and feel inflamed. On top of ALL that they are expected to be the primary care giver to the baby even while they’re recovering from their downstairs being mutilated and are shamed if they don’t/can’t.
Men, imagine getting into a car accident where your downstairs was torn and bruised and your 🍆 split nearly fully up the shaft, them imagine everyone shaming you because you’re “in too much pain” to take care of a baby and accuse you of being a terrible, unloving and neglectful father. Which, no. That’s not the case, you’re just in a lot of pain and you’re tired while you recover from your downstairs being destroyed.

Took a few re-reads to understand you were trying to say, while childbirth is painful, getting kicked or injured in the testicals is an instant regret, most times you can't breath and it feels like your balls are being compressed from all sides, all for about two minutes until it fades out into a dull sore.
I went over the handlebars of a mountian bike one time and the handle landed on my nuts, I was on the ground for quite some time and I never ever want to feel that pain again.
Giving birth is... very different. there's a lot of factors that change how painful it is and how long it lasts, the worst combos being super small hole, large baby, late birth kind of deal. ones you might die giving birth or be scarred for life. other side of the spectrum you could plop a baby out like you were constipated after just a few minutes of being in labour.
this is why you can't compare it. its two very different experiences.

    • @Shadow1Yaz
      @Shadow1Yaz Рік тому +190

@@-aid4084 I agree with you. I know getting nicked down there is painful af, I just never understood why some men said it’s always worse than giving birth. Cuz like you said giving birth has a very wide range. The shortest labour to birth I’ve seen is 5 hours and your insides are still destroyed for a few weeks. The longest I’ve seen was 1.5 weeks of labour followed by 18 hours of active labour where an epidural was unavailable and the pain was made worse by a bruised cervix.
On top of that, the two are antithetical to each other when it comes to making a baby. if your balls are kicked again and again or are crushed, you may not be able to have any more kids. Whereas giving birth again and implies you were able to get pregnant repeatedly, giving birth didn’t make you infertile.
I think it’s because the similar nervous are triggered but there’s a lot going on in both situations.
As someone who has never had their balls kicked or pushed a baby out, I personally don’t want to try either.

Uh, just saying, but an actual kick in the testicle can hurt for days with all kind of awful consequences.
Also, what I don't like about all the horror stories about child birth is:
Stress and fear makes pain MUCH worse. So telling horror stories to women who get their first child increases the amount of pain they will have.
We also have a big problem with wrong birthing position. A lot of the pain comes from the back, and guess what: lying on the back and pushing your not soooo light baby over your spine doesn't help with that at all.
No animal gives birth like that and biologically we still are just that.
During child birth your body releases chemicals which for example enable your tissue to stretch more, even the pelvis a little.
The thing is, how much does this help, when you push your baby over your bones, which of course can't just get softer.

She spent a full week feeling labor pains until she was “ready” enough for the hospital to accept her. Imagine somebody taking your intestines and twisting them tighter and tighter before letting go. Now imagine having this pain throughout the day morning and night for a week.
On FB on one of the groups that I’m in related to pregnancies, just a couple days ago, one woman posted that she was in hospital in labor for 72 hours but still not dilated enough. Barely progressed in those 72 hours. Thankfully the baby came out the day after that. Took four whole days for the baby to be born.
But yeah. Labor can last for days. If you’re lucky, hours.
Not to mention the pain from getting tubes and multiple IV’s shoved into your body, the 9 months of restricted diet and any other issues that come along with a pregnancy, the month and a half recovery, the hormones wreaking havoc on our emotions and body, the brain fog, and the physical changes that come from growing a human inside us before we push them out and then have to produce milk to feed them for a couple years.

My water broke but the labor pains didn't happen til i took the induction pill to get things going. But when i was feeling the contractions i was in sooo much pain and then had to take another induction pill which instantly caused the baby to want out out. I was in so much pain that the needle in my spine didn't even hurt. 😅 most will say I'm not brave and was afraid but i was thinking about avoiding that much pain so i can focus on getting my baby out and into my arms. I was so happy and out of it that I didn't rven realize i was crying tears of joy at 1st glance at my son. My fiancé told me i cried. But the best part was when they wheelchaired me to the maternity ward, all the nurses clapped and cheered me on. I never blushed so much til that day. Women occasionally suffer through having their appendix burst (eventually going to the hospital and surviving) because that's how bad their period normally feels. They do that because when they seek help for period pain, they're told it's supposed to hurt, ya baby. Because morons think nothing could be wrong and all periods are magically the same, so no woman could possibly have a different experience, so anyone complaining is just being dramatic. It shouldn't rival having your appendix burst, but that's what some experience, monthly, and they go to work like that.

I was in labour for 48 hours, contractions every 5/10 minutes sometimes sooner. It's sore for every one yeah, but the real pain that's blinding and excruciating only happens once you surpass about 5cm and go into active hard labour. I couldn't imagine going through childbirth after seeing it first hand. But the rewards from a kick and a safe delivery. Definitely outweigh the odds. Tearing down there during birth is really normal (maybe not *that* degree of tearing, but tearing in general). If you labored without meds, then afterwards, they can still give you some anesthetic before doing the stitches, and the adrenaline left over from active labor helps to block the pain, too.

Obviously childbirth, I mean I'm a dude and it hurts getting kicked in the balls, it's a pulsating pain that can last from a minute to 10 more severe injuries can last an hour or so but further through the pain it goes away, it is a lingering pain but wears off after a while. I'm not a woman but childbirth can take hours and I believe it may be similar painwise but it is for a longer time and doesn't simply wear off, and takes hours especially for first childbirth. I have empathy for women who have to go through that much pain. Someone I knew got hospitalised because they got hit in the balls during rugby and were in severe pain and had to go to surgery, so it can vary but they could have gone through anesthesia, you can't put a mother through anesthesia or the baby may not survive, there are ways to ease childbirth pain but it's more difficult since the mother may forget to push or pass out. Sorry for ranting I just don't think you can compare the two, if I'm wrong with anything I said, sorry all I said was only from my knowledge.

There is a way to compare it. They just don’t want to. Childbirth pain can begin with the implanting of the egg. It's that pain that alerts many women to their being pregnant. (Or if you suddenly have the razor blades in the bra feeling...yeah, that's fun!)
There's stretching, kicking, rolling around, and the most comfortable spot for the baby seems to be on your bladder!
Even before the blessed event you have Braxton Hicks pain (labor pangs without actually having anything.)
Labor: Actually lasts several hours unless you're having your first and then it could last more than a day. A nurse comes to "check you" and you've only dilated to 4 but the real pain doesn't begin until you're a seven!
Compared to that pain, actual "push time" isn't too bad provided no one gets stuck or turns sideways! Oh, and heaven forbid someone says the word "C-section!"
Despite the cutting the doctor does, you can still tear down there! Hello stitches! Oh, and for my first baby, my pelvic bone broke because tiny me had an over 8lb baby!
And because I chose breastfeeding that was long lasting pain w/out any type of pain relief.
And nobody tells you that while you're still raw, you'll have to pass a st00l so you'll learn whole new definitions of the word pain!
And you want to compare it to a one time kick in the acorns? 😂🤣🤣🤣 How about someone kick you everyday for ten months straight and then your spouse looks at you and asks if you really need to wait the whole six weeks before you can get busy again?! 🥺

As someone who had a child naturally (not by choice, anesthesiologist was busy with an emergency lol), there's no way that a kick in the nuts even compares. Until you go through labor, you literally cannot comprehend the amount of pain that a human body can withstand. That being said, the wildest part about it to me is that no matter how much pain a person has just experienced for possibly days on end, the moment you lay eyes on that perfect baby, you completely forget about it. All the agony that you just went through suddenly doesn't mean a single thing and you'd do it all again in a heartbeat.

I would say that people who are deliberately tortured within an inch of their life would disagree but that's besides the point. It's a women to women basis from my personal experience.
My mother and step mother as examples were completely fine up until childbirth itself and while it was painful for them during the process, they did not comment about any pain or extreme exhaustion for weeks after like people in the comment are saying.
I'm positive there was some level of it, but not at the level people are saying. So yeah, it differs.
