Those are some awesome tones coming through that Gibson. That’s the first one I’ve seen like that. That’s great stuff Mr. Dan as per usual. I could almost hear some Skynard in there. Stay safe Brother.
Thank you for watching my Brother Rodney along with the kind words;) I hope you, beautiful bride and your family and friends are dong well and our prayers to each of you;) Sincerely I am...Dan;)
Thank you for watching and the kind words my Brother Mojo;) These particular Les Pauls are very "unique"...frying pan-style top...and split coils...and very beautiful tops. I currently own 4 of them with this one being the only I brought to the Keys. My prayers to you, your family and friends...and thank you again;) Sincerely I am...Dan;)
Cool Les Paul and great picking my friend. I agree about the coil tapping functions on a lot of those guitars too. I tend to never use them. They tend to sound rather sterile and out of phase like. There are 3 guitars in my collection that sound true single coil and great tone when coil tapped and those are my 2 Yamaha SG-1000 guitars and the other is a 1986 Peavey T-60.
Thank you for watching Brother Darren and the kind words;) Last night...during my weekly Thursday performance @ Gilbert's Resort, I picked up this Les Paul about 1.5 hours into the 4 continouus hour show. This is the 1st time I used a "non-T-style" guitar on any of my shows this year (except for a private party for a short time). As soon as I plugged the Les Paul into my Tonemaster Twin Reverb setup at "Stage Volume"...holy cow!!! What fun I enjoyed the rest of the evening...including using the "normally useless" coil tapping feature on the back pickup...something that has never been "sonically suitable" for my tastes. But last night...near the end of the evening...I did an extended "looped version" of "Sultans of Swing"...and went for the total Knopfler sound...fingers only & the "Strat" sound...which was closely achieved by using the coil tap feature. It was an interesting...and useable combo...something I will explore over the next several shows I perform with it. Last night was the 1st time I ever thought..."Now...that's not bad" regarding the single coil feature;)
Thank you for the kind words my Brother Jose;) I am playing thru a Fender Tonemaster "Super Reverb" which handles the Les Paul very well. Other amps I play & own include the Fender "Twin Reverb", Fender "Deluxe Reverb" and the Fender "FR-12"...all Tonemaster Models. Each one of these amps provides it's own "character"...unique to itself...and this collection covers all my sonic needs both "Live" and in the studio. If I "had" to pick one...the Fender Tonemaster "Twin Reverb" would by my choice due to EXTREME CLARITY at higher volumes and it takes pedals extremely well too;) My prayers to you, your family and friends...and thank you again. Sincerely I am...Dan;)
@@musicmandan1717 Amazing amp. Fender amps never dissapoint. After your words it looks like Twin Reverb is the winner. Nice that they takes pedals good. My english is dodgy haha thanks for ur words dude!
Sounds great Dan!
Thank you my Brother Chuck;) My prayers to you, your family and friends...Sincerely I am...Dan;)

@@musicmandan1717 that’s pretty cool my friend. Great it worked out for you. And a four hour straight gig…that’s a workout!
What amp are you using? I love the tone. Very nice loop and solos playing. Nice place too!!
