- It's a lovely summer day in 2020 for a walk around South Pier Blackpool. Come with us for a walk around, all the way to the adrenaline rides at the end of the pier!
We're still in the middle of coronavirus restrictions so Blackpool South Pier is getting used to new ways of doing things. Nonetheless, you can still have a great time here. Enjoy the seaside side stalls and try your luck at winning a prize. Don't forget to take in the amazing views of Blackpool seafront too! To the south you're looking over the Sandcastle Waterpark. Look north and all of Blackpool seafront is laid out in front of you. It's a fabulous view at night - especially during the illuminations.

I love this video. When I was little, we would have family holidays in the 80s & 90s at a hotel near South Pier. I would spend so much time in the arcade and we'd see shows at the end of the pier. I looks like it has changed a lot since I was last there, but it still looks so much fun there.

The Blackpool Tower has a glass floor at the observation floor level. I feel it would be a sad day for Visit Fylde Coast if all the piers followed suit and had glass floors instead of planking . . . but the time may well arrive! :)

Best one yet very enjoyable looks like it's almost back to normal and the south beach looks better than the other ones , when we went in was usually the north pier beach, I seem to remember the first pub with a family bar was the merry England on the north pier , at first it seemed a good idea , after half an hour you wanted to strangle the little beggars the noise and screaming was let's say different and challenging

It was at the south side - I saw it earlier in the year - not sure whether it’s still there?
I think north pier is better for heritage sorry x
Hi lass have you done video past the pleasure beach south shore as far as the headlands hotel. Past the dunes etc. I did my training as a chef there over 40 years back be good to see the old place. Kind regards Paul from London
