We're back in Blackpool and taking a walk right along the world famous Blackpool North Pier from the main entrance and promenade. past the amusement arcade and bars and cafes and down onto the main pier.

In this video we walk the full length of Blackpool North Pier even though we could have just jumped onboard the little red Blackpool North Pier train that saves your legs by taking you from the pier entrance to the North Pier Theatre and Sunset Bar (now called The Garden)
Whilst still retaining the traditional victorian Pier feel there has been a few changes, most notably the addition of the Bloom Gin and Prosecco Bar, and The Garden outside beer garden at the end of the pier opposite Blackpool North Pier Theatre!
You will also see Blackpool Tower, Blackpool Beach and of course the sea as we walk the entire length of the pier, and we'll also show you little snippets of information about the pier such as when it was built, what has happened there including Harry Corbett finding the original Sooty puppet and buying it right here on North Pier Blackpool!
We also take a look at the Blackpool North Pier Carousel (also known as the Venetian Carousel).
So many famous entertainers have appeared on North Pier at the theatre including Morecambe and Wise, Bruce Forsyth, Lily Savage, Joe Longthorne and many more
Blackpool North Pier is my go to place to relax whenever I'm on a break or a trip here. I like to just sit in the bar and listen to some soul music played by the DJ or the bands here.
Blackpool's oldest Pier - the North Pier opened in 1863 and still retains it's Victorian charm. At the front of the Pier is a large arcade featuring the latest and greatest video, prize and gaming machines.
The historic North Pier Theatre, recently re-name The Joe Longthorne Theatre, hosts an exciting range of shows for everyone.
North Pier has had some amazing transformation over the past 18 months:
Bloom Bar is a beautiful, luxurious lounge bar serving amazing beverages and food surrounded by modern interiors and comfy seating areas.
The Gardens is new for 2021! This is the outdoor ‘sister’ bar and adjacent to Bloom located in what was North Piers old solarium. This beautiful bar has had a total transformation which now features an outdoor cocktail and champagne bar serving fabulous drinks in a unique and unrivalled setting. The Gardens is surrounded by glass and it still features the original glass solarium building, the bar is complemented by organic floral displays, comfy seating areas and contemporary furnishings.
The North Pier Lounge Bar located at the front of the Pier will reopen (outdoor only) from 12th April.

What a lovely video, I can see how Blackpool pier is known around the world. Another lolly/sweet shop 😀 for hubby . We knew most of the stars, only by watching on TV. Oh, to see sooty again.

We have just recently returned from a holiday in Blackpool, during which we made a point of walking the North Pier, in part because of videos we had seen like yours and reviews we had read. Having seen it first hand, I can vouch for the fact that your detailed video well depicts the amusements, children's rides, bars and scenic views that the pier has to offer. Bloom's Bar is a perfect spot to enjoy a drink after visiting the other attractions Blackpool has to offer, and the service is polite and friendly. Also, at the start of your video you show an ice cream, doughnut and waffle stand. They do a delicious waffle with fresh cream and strawberries.

Ahhh when I filmed the carousel it was spinning round one way and I was walking round the other and it made me so dizzy I nearly fell over ha ha!

Years ago when the kids were little we used to go for a few days to Blackpool and stay at the Doric hotel
on North Shore. The last time we went my daughter had her last donkey ride on the beach (she loved donkey
rides) she was 13!😄

Great video again. I love Blackpool - it was the first place I ever went on holiday - that was a few years ago. I've not been for a while so it was nice to watch your video. The little snippets of information were really good too. I can't remember if I went on the North Pier before but it looks really interesting - I've always loved piers. I don't know if it's still open or not but Blackpool also had (has?) a brilliant zoo. Thanks again for sharing this with us.
