As someone who has made Blackpool their home town you can take it all for granted been able to access it whenever you like, but when you listen to someone who comes from a different part of the country and compliments it's hidden treasures of the past it does make me proud of everyone who keeps Blackpool going ☺️💯
I really do miss Tim’s old videos. I get kinda fed up with his expensive hotel videos. It’s nice to see him go to places that everyday people can afford
Hi Tim ! I really enjoyed this it's so lovely that we have these wonderful piers still. They are all beautiful in there own unique way . I really must try and visit Blackpool one day. Thankyou for sharing with us as always love Tracey 💕 Xxxx
Another great and very interesting video Tim. That container giving out free ice creams is a publicity stunt for Netflix's latest film about zombies, watched it yesterday night and gave it the thumbs up, not for the faint hearted though!! Thanks for the video mate!!
Walking under the pier was amazing Tim. Looks so interesting under there. Love piers. This is a great adventure and walk Tim. Lots of fun for everyone there. 🌸
@@WalkWithMeTim you are welcome Tim. Loved the walk so much. Look forward to seeing where you go next. You should get a free vacation for all the press you bring to these wonderful places. Just saying. Lol. See you next time Tim. Take care.🌸
It was stunning video indeed. Loved it to bits. It just reminded me of my previous tour of black pool back in 2006 although a lot has changed by now. But it simply carries wonderful memories. Thanks mate. Cheers
Around 1963 there was a huge fire at the end of the South Pier which burnt down a theatre I believe. I lived in Blackpool way back then and always remember the sky was red. I could see it from my bedroom window. Just thought I would mention it...🔥🔥🔥
Hi Tim , fantastic colour shots , but so impressive, your footage under pier ,alot of sea things ,amazing how these piers keep up the wild sea , thanks Tim
I do like walking along the sea side piers when in the UK. Loved your video Tim as we visited Blackpool on a really rainy winter's day and, not being able to face the rain, we retreated to a Costa Coffee for a hot spicy apple juice (yum) and so didn't get to see them. Your videos are almost like being there and we will live vicariously through them until we can leave Australia's sunny shores for another lovely UK holiday. Looking forward to going on the merry go rounds as they are my favourite fairground ride.
Hi Tim ... Superb video .... I have watched one on the piers before, couldn't hear a thing for the noise, it was crazy to watch, made me dizzy lol .... so I tried again when I found yours .... Absolutely brilliant and very professional ... I take it you are not local to Blackpool? ... I am local but still love to see the videos ... Keep filming Tim .... Don't want to lose you now ... Priceless ....
Hi Tim, really enjoyed the walk 🚶♂️on the piers my favourite is North as I absolutely luv the carousel 🎠 . Thanx for that I've missed Blackpools because of Covid hope 2 b down soon. Stay safe 🙂
Hi Tim. Fantastic video. Loved the footage of the piers especially underneath. . Back in the 1970’s we visited Blackpool a lot being not far from Manchester where I grew up. Lots of memories seeing shows on the North Pier.. Debbie in New Zealand
Hi Tim. Patrick and I are good. We have been busy but still watching your videos on replay as live ones don’t usually work time wise for us. We are now on the North Island in Wellington for the rest of the year. Will watch your pleasure beach video tomorrow. Have a great weekend
Blackpool gets slagged off all the time, but there is no denying it is amazing for different attractions. I would say if you go there on a family holiday it is fairly safe. However once you go into the pubs and clubs and walking the streets at night after dark it becomes a dangerous place.
@@WalkWithMeTim hey man it's not much but I know how long those videos take. Defo drop me a line if you guys come to Tenerife we can do a private charter on a nice yacht on me.
Hi Tim just found this one,it just popped up. Love the piers but not when the tide is in,cant look through the boards😮. Great to see it busy, just watched a new vlog by some of the vloggers i follow, it looks good abd westger gorgeous but not as busy as it used to be. Oh Tim and the piers they are so amazing to see how they're put up, Thanks Tim and always love your vlogs 😊x
I never thought of walking under the piers. the architecture is indeed interesting. I’ve never used the telescopes either.. good piece of information you gave through out the video. Waow the oldest pier is from as far as the 19th century.
Just come across these video's and several have some personal memories, this one with the North Pier as have worked on summer productions in the past, Lily Savage being one. The Winter Gardens another place I know well, its impressive from the public space, but the behind the scenes passaged to the various theatres are really something. Even the Liverpool Adelphi Hotel is in my past. Interesting to seem them all up to date, some doing better than others.....
Great video I love piers but have never been to Blackpool would love to have the choice of three. I work as a volunteer on the MV Balmoral pleasure steamer and I know she used to sail from one of Blackpools piers occasionally , i believe it was North. Neil Bristol . 😢
Oh to be back in the good old days.... 2 years ago! Also, it is stupid to jump off our piers even in high tide due to currents, pier metal work and the water is soooo cod all year.
Someone I know made a sign for the outside of the Gypsy shop and she didn't pay. He went to see her and she said that she would just tell him his fortune instead. He replied that he was telling her her fortune and that was that if she did not cough up, her sign was going to disappear.
They used to advertise the comedians by the side of the piers as a kid I thought they must be performing there, I remember chubby brown being advertised there I cant remember the others. Was there a theatre next to it or something? 17.07 you just said its got a theatre. Wonder who performs there now coz it seems all the big stars did.

Sort of interesting, but typical Millennial. Like a rabbit in the headlights. Blackpool has always been a money machine, and that's all the piers have become. They are not a seaward promenade anymore. Back in the day every pier had a theatre. Billing Top Stars. Aside from the numerous theatres Blackpool used to host. Actually, a fourth and the most lavish theatre was at St Annes. The beautiful, gilded Moorish 'Pavilion theatre' and huge 'Winter Gardens' (that was home to orchestral concerts) were sadly lost by fire. Both could individually seat 1,000 people. The only reason I know is because I was there.
Your right the piers are great to look at still but management and some staff on the pier's are ile say idiot's they treat locals with contempt because they see through the scam and they rinse the passers by. there used to be an element to fairs and arcade's you always knew that most of the time games like hook a duck get a ring on a bottle get darts in certain numbers were a bit of a con and novelty most of the time but they've taken that bit of excepted fondness and applied it to near enough every machine broken lights on hold buttons weighted prizes in push machine's even elastic bands under the bulk of coin's in the machine . I was actually told after putting a small fortune in a 10 p pusher that they are gambling machines I argued that no they are in fact pushing machines and they should push and move especially with the amount gone in this logic was taken as threatening behaviour and created a bad attitude towards me across North and Central pier family members and staff following me about giving off passive aggression and the youngster's they are with trying to dip money from your winning Trays caused me to get banned for a year .some great people in Blackpool nice beach view's but with linked slot machines overwatched by security firms and controlled by lap tops on top of the already main scamming one's and abused facial recognition and slimy security and majority owned business it's only nice passing through if you must
