There is magic somewhere in this kind of camera that makes photos look different and beautiful
holy shit, the dynamic range of this thing...SHEESH
What a masterpiece!!
Absolutely stunning pictures
sometimes i zone out while watching these videos and just listen to the drum track. such great improvisation whoever it is
Brennan Tremblay it's Rodrigo Recabarren. Check his videos on youtube and in the description!
You are an unassuming and humble guy, but your street photography chops are world class, and your video personality is wonderful.
There are some really fantastic images in this one. Excellent work! I've noticed a lot of people complaining about the drums lately so I thought I'd mention as well that I think the drum tracks are incredible and really add something to your videos. Also, they remind me of the Fargo TV series, so yeah...¡Aguanta el ritmo!
Hi Eduardo i really enjoy your videos. The way you leave when you take a photo is unique :-)
All of the shots are nice. Most of them are spectacular.
another amazing vid man. Love this channel. Always inspires me to get out and shoot more.
4:28 You might want to tell them you got that picture!
I have no idea who they are. I just take pictures and leave. otherwise I would be sending photos all day. :(
EduardoPavezGoye that was an incredible photo. They would definitely enjoy it. Hope someday they find it!
The image quality is really amazing
Incredible images, I especially like the one of the young couple facing each other with the awesome background. :-D
For all those limitations, you still managed to get some great pictures. Well done!
Loved this video and the picture at 6:45! Unfortunately I️ had to sell my Hasselblad, but I️ will try and buy another with a digital back at some point.
Amazing shots, Ed!
4:28 The best shot. 📷🔥👌
Totally!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, Dude, it's super cool photos.
Excellent shots, and what a great system this is! 😍
those images are so beautiful
Wow! Beautiful pictures! Want this back vor my Hasselblad so badly! But for so much money I could shoot film for the rest of my days.
The older backs (like this leaf one) go on ebay for anything from £800 to £2500. There are some pretty good deals about. I love having it.
The quality of that digital back is just amazing.... wish I could afford one. Oh and yeah...man you are a very fine photographer!
What a great street photographer! :)
Como algunos comentan, realmente muy buenas pics Eduardo!!, más que comentas que no te gusta la cam noto como de alguna forma junto con el lugar te inspiraron para poder conseguirlas! Arriba, saludos desde Uruguay!.
Great photos (as usual!). Keep it up, and thanks for sharing!
Hasselblad should make an official back for their film camera line in conjunction with their modern digital cameras
they did it
Wow, it’s so great!
always wondered about the digital backs! another great video.
great photos and episode!
Great video as usual! 4:25 is such a great image.
The two couples would definitely love to see that photos hahah
I’m impressed with those digital shots! :o
Love the look it gives.
Hi, very interesting your work, congratulations ... and accompanied by that percussion even better. I recently bought a Leaf C-most backrest for use with my Hasselblad 555ELD, but I have not been able to enjoy it yet ... I can not find the software anywhere. Will you have any chance to give me any help? some web address, or perhaps another data. I think I need the LC V8 software, I know it's very old but I'd like to try shooting some digital photos with my Hassy. Thank you and warm greetings.
Which leaf aptus back?
cool music, nice photos, thank you
Stunning images!
What a nice Friend enjoyed this Video to. I have a Bronica etrs think you can get a leaf back for it but to pricey.
In my opinion the hasselblad is a studio and creative photography camera because it is not intended for street photography for more dijital support.I can assure you that hasselblad gives you incredible negatives, everything is for what it is
Yes, I know. That's what I say on this video and my review of the 500cm.
that´s fine I like your videos.
Did you have to edit a lot in post? Love your photos. I’m considering the phase one 30+. Would it be worth it to buy one now?
They have about the same amount of editing as any other digital camera image I take -which is quite a bit. I can’t tell you if it’s worth buying one, as I don’t particularly like shooting with Hasselblads.
These are the most beautiful pictures you have done lately. but I think it has nothing to do with the camera.
Please make a french translation😜
Guillaume Lacoste
I agree. I think it's the 50mm lens he used or that's what it appears.
Well. Just imagine 35mm or even aps-c format shot with 28 or 17mm lens respectivelly. Such lens wouldn't have depth of field straing into infinity (almost). Most people are not used to seing such a wide shots with shallow dpeth of field.
It's the 80mm f/2.8 so that's about a 50mm on a SLR. Thanks for the compliment. :D
Wow! Beautiful shots! Love the mother and son shot. 1 question though, did you adjust the colors in lightroom or its straight out of the camera? Thanks! Keep shooting.
Check at 2:24 man
Anyone having issues with Leaf Aptus not reading CF cards after doing the windows fat 32 format?
Having this issue now. Did you find a solution?
La calidad de la imagen es hermosa, pero para mi "it´s not worth the hassle". Creo que estaría chida para retratos pero para street no es tan práctica por lo que veo. Gracias por tu review!
The Hasselblad is slow but it has high definition and is more of a studio camera, other cameras are better suited for street photography.
Amazing, wich lens have you used?the zeiss 80 km f2.8. Nice job
One quick question: how do you connect a leaf aptus digital back on the Hasselblad 500? Do you use some sort of adapter? Would be nice if you can shed light on this. Thanks.
Ed, me encantan tus fotos y siempre me han gustado tus videos, pero a decir verdad me agrada más donde sales tu mientras vas tomando las fotos, en fin es solo un comentario.
4:22 that unassuming cough just as the shutter goes off.
studio work would be nice
Great shots and editing. That golden hour lighting was really working well for you. How did you find editing them compared to other digital images?
Greetings from Texas also we need tenemos explosivos to play dallas 🔥🔥🔥
I skipped through the video, did you mention what lens?
why frameming full face? isn't better if back camera a little bit, at least at torso :P
Great shots (as usual)! A bit of a dumb question, but isn't the back supposed to shoot square, as well?
Ok....just finished the video...sorry
So how are colors affected when using digital back? I ask because when using film, you get the film companies color. Were these images edited after.
At first i was very skeptical towards the digital back, but I have to say that it worked pretty well. Your talent in capturing the perfect moment helped a lot, of course :D
P.s: will you try the hassleblad with a more common medium format film?
I had a Hasselblad 500c for several year and sold it. I never found myself at home with it. :(
6:45 Best
Is that really jpg?
I thought you were working on a raw file.
Do you have any particular reason?
I think that will be a good combo for taking landscapes. Not for street photography… too big and too slow…
Photo of the couple at ua-cam.com/video/pNCKocWhUKM/v-deo.html and the next one with lady doing a selfie are the best!
heyyy gr8 images guy!!
Cool photos! Could you also share how you edited it? Really love the your color grading
could you upload some raws? i'd like to give them a try!
Hasselblads are not exactly designed for studio work, but definitely not designed for sports or street photographers, top notch photographers use Hassleblads mostly for studio work, specially fashion photographers, like David Bailey, Victor Skrebneski, etc etc., and most importantly, they never relied on auto focus or auto exposure, because unlike the new generations who can't live without auto everything, they new what they were doing.
Great, as always. What was the exact name for this back (what resolution)?
It's the leaf Aptus 65, 27mp and the sensor is 44x33 size.
The hasselblad is not really a good tool for street photo. Any little move the shoot blurry. Much better on tripod or when you are not in hurry, calm and high shutter speed (125 minimum for the 80 lens
How do you nail focus on street with shallow dof manually?
what the model of Leaf Aptus there?
Sorry to ask a question not related to the digital back, but I wondered which lens it was that you were using? 150mm?
it's the 80mm
EduardoPavezGoye how much cropping is there on that sensor? The photos look a lot tighter than 80
@@edpavez Hola Eduardo, una consulta es el Zeiss Planar 80mm 2.8?. Muy buen video me ayudó bastante! Saludos.
I fail to see the point of this. A significant number of the images isn't critically sharp and the old CCD in this back easily gets beaten by something like a Sony A7R2. Now if someone made a true 6x6 back with modern sensor technology, that would be a different situation altogether...
I fail to see the point of you, but you might still have value to other people. :)
Sharpness isn't what makes a photo good.
Bro its allmost like going with a rally car to a F1 race, or a F1 car to a rally race. Hasselblad its not a tool to street photography
Without auto focus and auto exposure you ain't photographer.
How many megapixels is the digital back?
28
Vives en Berlín????
不错
4:25 Plot twist, they were having an affair and two marriages got ruined with this image online. BOOM!
thats their own fault then .
How do you frame the pictures. I assume that this is only covering a part of the 56x56mm, so how do you know what in the frame and what is not?
right by London bridge, and all that architecture , BUT NO shots of any of them, NUTS!!!- why when you are near a famous monument do you NOT shoot it??????, WASTED TRIP:(.....
I disagree for two reasons:
1) I live there, so it's not interesting to me. It may be a novelty for you, but I'm not going to shoot "famous monuments" just for the sake of it. You can find them with a google search. If you are interested in architecture photography, maybe you won't find my channel very entertaining: I'm into shooting people.
2) Since taking pictures of a city landmarks is not what I'm there for, that comment is external to the reason of this video. It's like saying to a sports photographer "you went to Russia to shoot the world cup games and you only took pictures of players chasing a ball?? what a wasted opportunity, you could have taken amazing pictures of people watching the game!"
La foto de la pareja.. wow!!! en el minuto 4:28
Epic beard dude, hahahaha so out of topic.
Hassy is just studio camera it is not make for street photography.
Dude, nine months ago you posted almost the same comment. :/ Cameras are just tools. You can use them however you like. Making a high fashion editorial session with a point and shoot, or shooting the olympics with a 4x5 large format are creative choices, and they propose something by their very performative activity. Don’t try to regulate other peoples’ aesthetic or creative choices. Relax.
ridiculous comment. if it's a camera then you can shoot anything with it.
You don’t see anything except humans. You are restricted to the society you inhabit politely. Look at Kenna’s work. I bet you have never sold a print. And thus you don’t monetize your work. Get out of your comfort zone. Chick out Gibson or Kenna. Let me ask you a question. What do you do ? Why do you do it. ? The mamaya your happy with because you. An avoid attention. Hasselblad is for art not for boring people. So many shapes, shades. Try exciting people ( yawn) you are not evolving as an artist. By now you should be selling prints from a gallery or maybe you’re. It interested in photography just the tool.
I just love the many layers of Dunning-Kruger effect operating in this comment.
EduardoPavezGoye ah. Well done a machiavellian response. There is a boldness to you as opposed s shy snap here and there. No wonder you chose the TLR for your project you are removed and apologetic like you are an nat geo arriving in Papua new Guini apologizing for stealing their souls. The antithesis of Bruce Gildens fuck you really work work hence you will never be Sebastso Salgado. Just Pavlovs dog regurgitating a biscuit. I teach psychology and help victims of violence here in the worlds most violent city. My M3 Beats your Full Hours as i don’t respect the subject. More layers?
I would love to watch your videos but I find the drums distracting and irritating. I wish you would just have calming music instead so I could enjoy your content.
Matthew the drums are widely loved, I doubt they're going anywhere.
That's a shame, I really don't understand them.
Matthew I get it. I like them but it's not everyone's cup of tea. I hope you enjoy the video regardless. I like featuring my friends in my videos, so I use their music. :)
Jesus christ the drum track makes the video so annoying
Geert Boer no. It doesn't
