  • He's arguably the most recognized meteorologist in the world. Not just here in the Chicago. That's because he's spent almost 45 years working here at WGN. Many of those years were spent on the superstation. Tom joins us this morning as we celebrate WGN at 75.

    What a wonderful man, I met him once with my dad. He spent time talking to each and one of us when met him at a weather radio event at Walgreens.

    I have been watching Tom from day one, what a wonderful person, and the earliest day I remember watching WGN that is New Years Day 1952.

    Tom started here in Milwaukee. Still remembered him although I never saw him after he left.

    I think you know my brother Mr. Skilling; he did the camera in the WGN studio in the early 1980s, in case you were ever wondering what happened to him, he ate himself to death up in the pacific northwest 1959 to 2016

    Tom's first people that he interviewed with was somebody that was my first Rusty Tym. Reminiscent of WKKD Everest russ salter broadcasting I didn't get my first interview after graduating from Midwestern broadcasting school and 67 but later for Rusty Tym at wgsb in geneva ill
