More power to her- the banks are criminal-
If you are alleging any wrong doing by a bank then have you reported it? and what specific criminal activity do you refer here? Or are you just mad that you were charged an overdraft a time or two? Well when you signed your banking contract all fees, charges, assessments and more were all in the paper stack as you applied! _Homegirl was tight in that mugshot... she coulda got so many doughnuts._
My bank took my work checks and deposited them in someone else's account, it took them a month to finally get it straight! No apology from them! I switched banks after that!
took me 6 months to reimbusered from an "overseas" purchase. I live in the U.S. and someone purchased boots in China. It was only $125 but thats 1/5 of my paycheck. Turns out the information the criminals used was from a Facebook Purchase transaction. as soon as the bank realized that- eventually 6 months later- they paid it.
I understand 100% about the apology. One time at a supermarket, they gave me too little change back, and as it was a respectable sum they had incorrectly held back, I complained, and I had to go back the next day as they had to check camera footage. The next day, I went there, and they just gave me my money back with absolutely no apology, so I asked for an apology and they refused because they said it was an honest mistake and could have happened anywhere. So, I put the money back on the counter and told them they could have it, and I walked away

How is she responsible for the Bank's mistake?
She is not responsible for the clerical error of the mis deposit, but stealing the money she is responsible for that. The money in error in her account is the lawful property of the rightful owners of that money. She knew quite well she was in no way entitled to a penny of it.
