I ran into this extra wiring when installing OEM Driving (Spot) lights. Thanks for putting this together regarding the OEM Off Road lights and the pre-installed wiring. They'll make an easy tie in for roof lights.
During the installation were you require to add an Off-road Lamp Diode? I am looking at the wiring schematic for a 2007 FJ and it is listing an E70 option connector diode. In the schmatic I see and understand the E30 Switch and R1 relay, as they were mentioned in the video, but not the diode.
Hi Aaron, I actually used the male and female connectors from radioshack. I think you can use any six pin connectors for this that's why I didn't include the part number for the new connectors.
You can get to the switches by going through the stereo panel. A lot less to take apart.

Never remove center console just remove music raido panel in less 3 minutes you hve access to your switches
