It is finally warm out and the sun is shining! Woo hoo! So today, I am sharing a roundup of all my favorite SPF's for my face and body! I tried to include a little something in here for everyone. As usual, I love to learn what your favorite sun protection products are as well! Cheers to a fun, safe, and PROTECTED Summer!

So so agree with you about tanning beds. I regret every minute of sitting in them. I just re ordered my Glow Beauty from Freeze Beauty. I love Kristine. I have wanted to try the Glow spf in the tinted but haven't pulled the trigger yet so if you get it will be curious to hear what you think.
I just purchased from Seffridges the Suqqu blush in the pink and coral palette. The name starts with a T. I think you would love it. I received my new Laguna bronzer and have been enjoying it so glad I purchased it. Have a great weekend. XOXO

I also got on board with wearing SPF late in life. I use Elta MD, recommended by Mandy Davis MUA in TN. It’s tinted and I mix it with my moisturizer under my makeup. All the best to you, Abby!

It took my cousin’s, she was my age, death to convince me. She was 34. She died of melanoma. I started using SPF religiously. It’s now a habit. I grew upliving at the beach during the summer. Even though it was Connecticut, I still did damage. Over the years I have had a few small basal cell carcinomas removed from my back and on my upper chest. When we are young we believe we are invincible. 💖

If you had to pick 2 SPFs and wear makeup everyday and you are a medium skin tone, which ones would you recommend?
Hi there awesome review. I also have the colorscience spf 50 glow sunscreen. But I cant help but notice that there sunscreen bottle you show on your video look way much bigger than the one I recieved from directly from the colorscience web site. How big is your bottle and for your information I dont think they have different size of bottle for the people to purchase although that would be awesome. Appreciate a response thank you God Bless.
Hello Y G! I bought mine from Dermstore and it is 1.8 fl oz. I think that is the normal size.... I hope this helps. It appears that the size from Colorscience is also 1.8 fl. oz. I hope this helps! xoxo

I never knew that chemical sunscreen doesn’t protect against hyperpigmentation! Wow, thanks for that information Abby. I use physical sunscreen for the most part so I’m eager to try some of your recommendations.
Becky- I know! I remember a derm telling me this and I was like WHAT?? I had only been using the chemical ones because back in the day the mineral ones where not the best! Let me know what you decide to try! xoxo
Jane Iredale came out with a very similar under eye product (same packaging) and I love it more than the Colorescience! It has a lot of coverage for dark circles along with spf. It’s also more affordable, around $40. I found the Colorescience to not really do much for my dark circles.
Abby - thank you for this VERY IMPORTANT video! I am 62 years old and I’m embarrassed to admit, a former sun goddess. We didn’t know anything about sunscreen when I was young, and really only super fair red haired people wore it. Also, because I’m olive and don’t burn or feel the pain, I wasn’t worried about it, not realizing that no matter your complexion - aging was happening. I started using it off and on in my 30s and then faithfully since my early 40s. But, the damage is done. I tell my daughters all of the time - bronzer doesn’t cause wrinkles - if you want to look tan, use a self-tanner on your body and bronzer on your face. Nobody told me, but I drill it into them, telling them they won’t get a do-over. I still love being at the beach for the ambiance and peaceful atmosphere but now I wear a hat from my dermatologist, large sunglasses, sunscreen head to toe and I still sit under the umbrella. It’s hard to convince young people that they will one day regret all of that sun because they are invincible! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! Xoxo
Great video. Sunscreen is so important. I have sensitive fair skin like yours and since I was able to find an extremely gentle trentinoin cream that smoothed out my skin (Refissa), I’ve been able to get away with just wearing tinted sunscreen out and about! What color do you use in the Colorscience Eye? My skin is your color and I’d like to try that.

I am light medium skinned, I started using original shade since a week ago, I can say it blends really well. I am gonna try their powder SPF :)
I need to try that Supergoop body sunscreen. I so wish I’d been better about sunscreen when I was young (and I laid in tanning beds too - who thought that was a good idea??!!)
Hi Abby: UPDATE: Got my order for BR PIGM 400 products. The set of four masks(will use one next week,) PIGM 400 creme and the Lotion P50 PIGM 400. Just ever so slight of a tingle on the Lotion P50 PIGM 400 which I like and the creme PIGM 400 is whipped up in heaven! Nighttime will use the creme/P50 Lotion 3x a week and my Retinol 3x a week..alternating nights. Have a mask ( BR VIP 02 in my cart for next month order.) Love the Lait E.V milky cleanser, the micellar water, the serum Matriciel Visage and the Vernix has become a HG item after first use. Creme ADN Elastine Marine Collagene Marin is in my cart as well for a nighttime moisterizer. Still use my LaMer products/Skinceuticals. I alternate my routine systematically and want my choices available. I have been able to scale back several items in each of the LaMer/Skinceuticals lines because of BR. Your video on April 15, 2020 was very helpful......I reveiwed it again today. Thanks, Abby......you are a wealth of information and I appreciate it very much! :)

Makeup - foundation looks great on top of it. That is my gripe about physical sunscreens. Sometimes foundation does not wear well on top, but I think the Glo is fantastic for that! I have used Elta md and Revision for a few years.
Like you, I preach to my daughter and daughter in laws about SPF. The video of the truck driver that was out last year should make us put spf on every single day no matter if the sun is shining or not!
And don't get me started on the younger UA-cam girls who never mention it!!!!!

Abby- you must be a witch. I was just ordering sunscreens and was looking at the Maelove. They bill it as a great primer- Which do you prefer this one or the City? I just tried the Alastin and like it but it’s a little dark. The Revisions is also a tad dark and warm for me but I’ll use them this summer. I’ve been wearing these and the Colorescience trio mixed almost everyday instead of foundation during my quarantine. I purchased the drmtlgy tinted but have been afraid to try because of the chemical but since it works for you and the tint is lighter I’ll try it. ❤️
Marjorie- I really can't believe how silky the Maelove one is!! IT reminds me of the Tatcha SPF one. The new City is great but feels a bit more silicony- not in a bad way but that would be the difference. AND yes, I was scared of the Drmtgy too-- but so far no issues! PHEW!! But better safe than sorry right?? xoxo

I wear SPF everyday, rain or shine. I wear it even if I don’t leave my house. I love the Glo Beauty and ColorScience. I prefer the tinted as it protects against HEV and blue light. I haven’t tried the Neutrogena spray. I usually use the SPF 100 for my body. The ColorScience powder is great. I keep one in my purse and in both of our cars.
Good job Jan!!! AND my family makes fun of me for buying 100 SPF when we got on vacations but seriously I wish I had worn my SPF in my younger years and am trying to teach them to do the same!!! Phew!
Thank you. So timely. A few days ago I ordered the Sunglow on your recommendation from information you gave in an earlier video. Hoping it will help with rosacea, too. I have just ordered the Colorscience powder. It is so great that there are SPF products available today that are so much better than even 10 years ago. I have used La Roche-Posay Anthelios for a couple of years and like it, but always looking for a product that works well with makeup. Thank you for the PSA for younger viewers - will such great products, there is no excuse!

I have been using the Colorscience powder brush for years and I keep one in my purse too. Thank you for this video Abby! So important so use SPF under foundation for proper sun protection. My Aunt is a nurse and when we were kids she used to bug us all the time to put SPF on and we thought she was crazy (this was back in the 80’s when SPF information was not as prevalent. She was definitely a woman ahead of her time!! Now she is 70 and has gorgeous skin!!

Thank you for all the great suggestions! If you are ever wanting to try a body sunscreen that has a little tint try the Australian Gold Instant Bronze spf 30! I wear it every day and it really looks nice. Also I’ve not had any issues with color transfer! I even wear it with white!
