My high porosity/damaged hair girls!! Get on it!! Definitely a new staple in my routine!! The biggest differentiator is the fact that the Curl Smith one targets all THREE bonds in our hair, where as the Olaplex doesn't. I also love that you get way more product in the Curl Smith one, for less money! I will definitely be incorporating it into my wash day routine moving forward!
How often do you do treatments and wash your hair? I just did a big chop last week and I literally went and bought curl smith after watching your other video now I want to go get the rest lol
I just love how she keeps on giving us different content.🥰🥰 Also she always teaches us why she uses a certain product and how the ingredients aid in hair growth!!
I've been natural for over 10 years now. I cut my hair short recently because it was really damaged. Now I'm starting over and I'm sort of insecure about my hair since I haven't had short hair in so long. Your videos give me hope. You have a beautiful head of hair.
Congrats on the partnership sis! I definitely love the fact that you said ALL hair types need protein. People need to realize that your full texture, dictates your routine. Not just the viscosity of the product, or what one’s porosity is. If your strands are fine, you need protein no matter what your porosity may be.
I need to try that bond curl!! I use the olaplex as I have colour treated hair but it’s so small so I don’t use it as often as I need it. Your hair looked so soft after it!
Love this review . I started getting into curl-smiths products because of you. I’ve been using there scalp stimulation serum and girrrrlllll my edges are here to thank you. Love your hair content
Bond Salve has done amazing things to my high porosity curls - they spring better, are more defined, stay shiny and moisturized longer, and keep my style for days!!!!!!!!! I use it 2x a month - and still deep condition - weekly - thanks for this video
I just used my Olaplex, but I have a lot of hair so that tiny bottle causes pain in my wallet, and it’s about empty! Guess I’m going buy the Curl Smith one ASAP! Their products just have so much fragrance in them. I hate how strong it is, but maybe I just have a sensitive nose! 😂 Thank you for this review!
I personally didn't see a difference in my hair using olaplex and its expensive I've had better and faster results using cheaper products. I'm excited to try curlsmith
this video was helpful, i was trying to figure which one to get too because i recently got some heat damage and i need to nurse my hair back to health lol
Suggestion for dull looking hair Try Adore Clear color, it will give your hair a natural shine and it’s clear so you are not adding any color. I used it and what a difference in my hair shine. I will checkout the ingredients in the CurlSmith and give it a try.
Maybe you should try rinsing your hair with cold water since you have high porosity , cold water closes your hair cuticle so maybe that can't help your hair to keep in moisture
I think it says a lot about curl smith’s confidence in the product that they WILLINGLY put themselves up against the highest rated bond strengthener on the market. The ingredients and results speak for themselves!
I thought the comparison to Olaplex was an interesting choice considering Olaplex doesn’t have protein at all nor is marketed as being a “protein treatment” but I guess since they are calling it a Bond repair it’s a fair comparison ?
Hi Kaice, I want to start by saying I love your videos... I’ve been watching your content for over a year now and it has been such a blessing. I have a question tho. So I’ve been trying curl smith and my Curl Bond treatment just came in the mail. There products say “zero spoons of:Sulphates,Parabens, silicones, mineral oils, phathalates, dea” but when i look on the back of the ingredient list i seen things like Menthyl Lactate and sodium Hyaluronate and sodium Benzoate. I was under the impression that anything that ends in the word “ate” is a sulphate. Am I wrong ? I’m just a little confused and I’m hoping you can help me better understand. Thank you in advance !!!
Hey! Thanks so much for supporting for so long :) No, all sulfates have the worst sulfate at the end. Like sodium laureth sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate, ammonium laureth sulfate, ect. Menthyl Lactate is an organic preservative. Sodium Hyaluronate is a compound that helps draw water in the hair. Sodium Benzoate is also just a preservative. Hope this helps :)
I’ve been binge watching a lot of your videos, I like how informative they are. However, this review was very bias I understand that they are sponsoring but to use mostly the sponsored product then do a review on the other one idk.
Well, it is sponsored so sponsored vibes is expected lol. Curl Smith asked me to compare the two so I did. If I didn’t like the curl smith at all, there wouldn’t have been a video. I even went above and beyond to do some research on the formulation of the curl smith to see if it really is more innovative than the Olaplex and it is.

Hi Great video! Im familiar with the patented ingredient in olaplex but whats the names of the ingredients in curl smith that targets all 3 bonds?
How often do you do treatments and wash your hair? I just did a big chop last week and I literally went and bought curl smith after watching your other video now I want to go get the rest lol
@@Elminx2 rewatch the video again she tells you
@@sharondenmark3454 she doesn’t. She only mentions the fact that there are 3 bonds targeted but not specifically what the ingredients are
@@Elminx2 at 3:09 she states it

been eyeing this and you just solidified me purchasing it! i love curlsmith products and i love this partnership 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Just wondering if it is a fair comparison since the Olaplex has a whole system 0,& 3? Just wondering.😊
I say do it!!! I loved it
Just wanted to make a correction that 0 & 3 are to be used together to get the full effect.
Curlsmith is slowly but surely taking over
I never tried this . Thanks for your comment.

I really think I might buy this!
The olaplex is definitely meant to be paired with the Number 0 too! You will def feel more of that slip you’re looking for . Amazing combooo
I agree I used them for the first time a week ago together and my hair is DEFINITELY strengthened.
Thanks for the comparison. I'm sticking with olaplex because my hair is low porosity and hates protein.
Ur hair videos are soo satisfying to watch😫, keep it up hun❤️❤️❤️
I need to try that bond curl!! I use the olaplex as I have colour treated hair but it’s so small so I don’t use it as often as I need it. Your hair looked so soft after it!
I used it for the first time. And this line honestly is the BEST. Cuts downs wash time in half!!!!!
I actually love when you post. Loving the consistency
I love olaplex but I’m definitely trying this too!🙌🏽
I'm so proud of her i know she's been wanting curlsmith to sponsor her!!!

I just straightened my hair and it was a great purchase. I had no heat damage and it smells lovely and I didn’t really use a lot.
your hair is inspiring me to go back to natural hair
It’s hard for me to tell if your honest because it’s seem that your Complementing the curl smith more just because it’s sponsored
Agree. I really hard to believe reviews nowadays. Most of them are sponsored.
Not gonna lie...same. I mean why not use more olaplex products on the opposite side?
She not lying tho lol i use it i love it
I love Curl Smith products. Our hair porosity is the same😄. Your hair looks healthy.
That is great ! I hear you :)

I really want to try to Curlsmith. But I am on a no buy until March. 😩
Genuine curiosity: did Curlsmith ask for this comparison with Olaplex?! All my faves are doing this side-by-side. Kinda here for it!
@@bri6520 - Ah! That makes sense. That’s so sneaky on Curlsmith‘s part. 💀
@@SamMKKK Yeah, im not sure if its being sent to everyone, but that particular youtuber said it was sent to them. *just to clarify* lol
I am definitely going to get the kit because I want to try all of those products. Thank you

Your curls are popping 🥰😍. I have to try the curlsmith products.
I was just thinking about the curl smith product. Let me tune in
This video made me soo excited for my wash day tomorrow!! 🖤🤎
You have such a cute baby face 😍😍😍 omg... Also, we have our post notification on 🤗🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🏽 Notification gang gang 😎😎😎
Eyebrows stay on point, can you do a tutorial please!!
Honestly watching the pre poo I could see the difference I love the high prodigy tips too!! Your hair looks good!!
New subbie! Loving the video, finally found someone with high porosity hair like mine!
this video was helpful, i was trying to figure which one to get too because i recently got some heat damage and i need to nurse my hair back to health lol
❤️ 👍 Curl Smith products are BOMB 🙏😁 for sharing really nice comparison video and learning curve
I love ❤️ to use Olaplex but perhaps I will try the CurlSmith after I run out of Olaplex.
Gorgeous results! You are my hair twin❤

Which Olaplex has DMDM HYDANTOIN? I checked my No 1, 2, 3, & 4 and I don't see that ingredient.
@@gemruby41 Correct and I deleted the statement
I use olaplex but I’m definitely going to try curl smith when I finish my bottle of olaplex!
I tried the olapex and it irritated my scalp , the curl smith bond treatment was amazing for my hair and scalp . I have 4c with 4b in the middle.
I tried the curl smith line I used a different curl smith shampoo and conditioner but I love it on my high porosity short salt a pepper natural hair
Gonna give CurlSmith a try thanks for your review
I'm also type 4 high porosity natural. Thanks for the video
Yes love it! Wish I had this before I big chopped!
Your eyebrows look amazing
So the curlsmith is a protein treatment ? Olaplex does not market as a protein treatment to my knowledge
But they do market itself as a product to help damaged hair so it was just a bonus thay curlsmith had protein in it
Maybe you should try rinsing your hair with cold water since you have high porosity , cold water closes your hair cuticle so maybe that can't help your hair to keep in moisture
When u growed out ur buzz cut did you get it tapered every 2 weeks? Or let it do it’s thing
If curlsmith has protein in it then why the comparison Olaplex is not a protein treatment.
They are both bond strengtheners marketed to repair and strengthen damaged cuticles
Comparison with sponsorship.......not sure. But ok.
I think it says a lot about curl smith’s confidence in the product that they WILLINGLY put themselves up against the highest rated bond strengthener on the market. The ingredients and results speak for themselves!

I have to try olaplex!
what about great products for low porosity so hard to even moisture in., is protein good for low porosity
Love the video 💙
How often do u clip your ends ?

This video was really biased. Just do a curl smith only video and don’t compare olapex. This gave real sponsored vibes (no shade).
