-Texture: Fine with excessive shrinkage that gives the optical illusion of course hair
-Density: medium density
-Porosity: Normal/Medium porosity with a patch of low porosity in the front

I’ve been trying to find this product in their website since Xmas - no luck- then tried Amazon- no luck- then tried here 🇬🇧 at various UK hair companies - still no luck!! I’ve basically given up. Even emailed Curlsmith (they decided to respond by suggesting every other product bar what I’m looking for) ☹️👀Anyone got any suggestions??

Yess I was just thinking TODAY I’m tired of the sponsored content surrounding the Bond Salve although I imagine it’s really more of the aggressive marketing on the Curlsmith side. At least they’re consistent 😒😂

I tried this twice so far and both times the salve enhanced my curls. Never have I ever had my curls popping like that without a styling product. I plan to use it as instructed for low porosity hair. Love it so much that I bought 6 on Black Friday so I can have at least a year’s worth.

Helloooo new subscriber here☺️ I’m trying to figure out my hair type since it doesn’t take to moisturizing products AT ALL. Most products would just sit on top of my hair. It also breaks off something serious if it is flat ironed. The best thing to use I’ve been told is a hot comb for my hair. Other than that I really want to start the journey to growing my hair and finding the best products for it and have come across your channel. I’m going to try the products you’ve introduced and hope they work! I love the results you’re giving☺️

Imma need Curlsmith to gather themselves and put Mother on the PR list.... as many sponsored vids as I’ve seen of this stuff, they CLEARLY HAVE THE COIN! Would love to see a review on the rest of the strength line, especially the foam! No one has really used the foam in their vids and thats the product from the line i am most interested in behind the bond salve.
I thought about the foam but I was leery about it working on my hair type 😫 lol

As a brand, I've seen people getting good results, but I've bought so many products that I now read ingredients and dismiss if a product doesn't add anything I don't already have in the products I already own. Bask and Bloom is really doing it for me these days.

Nice to see an unsponsored review especially since your not spreading false info, a lot of the paid promotion compared 2 products that aren’t comparable Olaplex is bond builder/ multiplier and the Curlsmith has bond strengthening ingredients which may give a similar effect

I tried the salve because I’m coming out of having my hair heat styled twice within 2 months. I think it did what it was supposed to. My hair actually was “tighter”. Only thing was it felt rough. That is until I used the moisturizing mask. I also used the oil to cream leave in and the curl soufflé. I don’t think I will use their styling products again. Too much glycerin for me and not enough slip in the leave in or mask. I did like the moisturizing conditioning cleanser.

I've noticed there is a huge influx of others targeting the natural hair care community. Earth Supplied, Curl Smith, Emerge, Cantu really going hard right now advertising and putting out stuff, and several others. Olaplex and Curl smith are probably the top non black owned brands that I would consider trying. I'm just torn because we've seen this before a thousand times in music, film, and everything else we do. We make something that is poppin then they see dollar signs and use their pockets and connections and privilege to do what we did but bigger and then put us out of business. I like that Olaplex brought something patented and new to the table and I respect that 100% and will likely try it. Now with that being said... YOUR HAIR LOOKS FREAKING AMAZING. That Melanin leave in is my secret weapon for detangling and pairing things with as well. On its own it good for detangling but the right moisturizer will set that thang OFF!!!
