Thank you Tyler for doing this for kids to see. I have a tremendous amount of respect for you for making this public and not hiding it like everyone else does. I hope it inspires other athletes to do the same. I know so many adults who where skateboarders and BMX riders that have had major head trauma but they just hide the symptoms rather than sac up and deal with it like your doing. Sometimes acts of Courage can be contagious, I hope this inspires them.

Thanks so much for this, tyler . The bmx industry really needs to do a better job of taking care of these athletes who suffer brain injuries .

I suffered crippling anxiety and depersonalization for years after a BMX fall and tbi…..took 4 or 5 years but eventually I made it through. Anxiety still troubles me 15 years later but I can live again…

Thank you, Tyler, for being open about your injuries and symptoms. I pray for you, your child, and the lovely mother. I also pray for your complete healing. I hope Dr Chapek's Amen Clinic protocols will help you. Please consider doing a followup visit for viewers to see your progress. God bless you and your family.

I have a lot of similar symptoms after getting knocked unconscious in the military. Constant anxiety, severe depression, and panic attacks- it’s made me become reclusive and isolated.
I found that having hobbies that require focus (like music and woodworking) help the anxiety to reduce because my body and mind are occupied by something I enjoy. If you try this technique, allow yourself to get lost in the task and be present in the moment.

A good Irlen exam would benefit this individual. I'm certain the Amen Clinic can connect with a great Irlen diagnostician. Irlen filters can be beneficial to helping individuals with TBI.

@@GeraltOfRivia99 possible yes. I was trying to understand his timeline. I have a mild TBI. Benzos are potentially very harmful and can cause a severe withdrawal syndrome, so that is something to be aware of.
