I have been living in Brisbane for more than 30 odd years but do go home often to see my family and instead of the pie factory they've had units there for a very long time! Back in the early 70's I picked pears in Shepparton. The work sucked, but the pears were excellent! Does Shepparton still have the world's largest outdoor swimming pool? Had some really good times there, but don't remember Campbell's Soup being there back then.
Yeah, I remember that pool. I checked it out on Google earth a while back and it seems to have been replaced with your common concrete one. That old pool had its own beach and was a connected to the river. Great little town back then.
My father worked their in the early 70's and I worked there in the late 80's. There were a lot more people back then. I can't even recognise the place.
