I can't believe it's been 150 years that Campbell's has been around. In fact, my grandmother told me at 100 years old that when she was a child these soups actually fed her family, and prevented them from starving. Also, I can say there is nothing like some Chicken Noddle soup when you don't feel good, and may even make you feel better. My dad's famous Green bean casserole wouldn't be anything without the cream of mushroom soup they sell, and he won't make it without it. Oh, and don't forget the tomato soup. You can make all kinds of things with that, and it brings back memories of spending summer at my grandmother's house. So in one way or another, Campbell's soup has been in our family for generations.
Sadly , Today campells has been taken over and ruined by uber woke corporate communists who hate everything about its 150 year history. They also added sugar , Dyes and harmful ingrediants.
There was once a car parked out in front of our house (this was in the 80's) that was suspicious as it seemed to belong to no one in the neighbourhood. We called the police, turns out that it had been stolen and then abandoned, the owner of the car was a campbell's soup executive and I'll never forget a week or so later we received a huge box full of campbell soup cans as a way of thanks.
I think my Mom helped to keep Campbell's in business for the 63 years she and my Dad were married. Every single day, she'd open a can of Campbell's soup to serve for lunch. And, more canned Campbell's soup was used in her various 'hot dishes' such as green bean casserole or Tater Tot hot dish, or baked chicken and rice. No joke, she always had at least 20 cans of Campbell's soup on hand, and always bought more when it was on sale.
My MIL always had Campbell’s soup too and my paternal grandfather insisted on Campbell’s chicken and noodles soup for his lunch every day he was not at work.
Great to hear to this news i fell great to work in this compamy in malasya 2013 to 2016 i fell great to work this company This company give me many things thank u campbell in malasya kimpball
One of my fondest memories was going to work at RCA (bldg 17, the Nipper building) across the street and smelling the soup being made. Those were the days ......
Can't sleep late night watching some fun history vids, one mentioned memory of Campbell's in charity boxes for holiday food gives. We're doing that this year through church "gifts" so GB casserole fresh on my mind. Our box had only one can of green beans. No Campbell's, no Jell-O brand jello. Three hour line to pickup. Ok, I know, but I'm just gonna say it, I was disappointed. So, went to the local and bought six cans Campbell's mushroom all different labels. I thought the register voice said $57 but it rang up as only $15. 😅 My holiday's off to a good start. Crap, they didn't give us any crispy Onion topping either.
i just wish they would make the chicken in the chicken noodle soup a bit bigger I feel like I'm eating bits of gristle and lower the sodium in the can.
Campbells also highly influenced AGRICULTURE for pretty much the entire State of New Jersey. There were times when perhaps 80 to 90 percent of farms in New Jersey drew at least part of their cash income by growing crops specifically for Campbells. Likewise, Campbells influenced farm machinery as vegetable crops grown on small acreages had different equipment needs. The Planet Jr. equipment company sold millions of pieces of walk-behind equipment for small farms that grew crops for Campbells. So, a BIG part of why the State of New Jersey is called The Garden State is due to Campbells
Scotch Broth was my favorite over 50 years ago when I was 10 and sick my mom got it for me. When I had kids I couldn't find it in CA and CO. Went to Great Britain and found it in the store! I bought 4 cans home on the plane about 30 years ago. I live in Hawaii now and can't find it again. What happened 😕to it?
If true or not. Campbell’s chicken noodle soup help when you’re sick. I feel like it’s a placebo but who gives a f*** when it so easy to eat when you’re sick
I think also the younger consumers now prefer to make their own fresh soup instead of buying into the big corporations that who knows whats actually in it
Just some suggestions: if you have a half-a-can of left over cream of mushroom soup, or cream of celery (cream of anything, really), you can sautee some onions and mushrooms, add some spices, add that to your half-a-can of left over creamed soup. Then, you can use that as a nice sauce for meat loaf, chicken, on top of baked potatoes, or drizzled over cooked veggies. You could thin the soup (mixed with the veggies) with some broth, milk, or wine, and serve it as a soup. With a little creativity, you could re-use your leftover half-a-can of soup, and not have to waste it. Good luck !
My first can of soup, I was allergic. I was sick but I am still here. Thank the Lord for Jesus. My dad was a High Priest in the Order of the Rosary. Aka Rosicrution Order. There is something It the soup that gave me an allergy. I am mostly vegetarian, and prefer eggless. So many other than chickens have eggs. Bless you!
Campbell's: I don't know what happened to your quality control, but I am fed up with finding so many rotten vegetables in your soups. It has been happening for years and only gets worse. I will be avoiding your products from now on. I'm sick of picking half the vegies out! Gross! I expect it doesn't matter where you purchase Campbells. Your soups are probably full of rotten produce wherever they are sold. If the vegies are that disgusting, what is the quality of the meat?

If nothing else, some Campbell’s chicken noodle soup can provide a needed morale boost when you’re feeling unwell!

Fascinating that it still exists. It's still based in Camden, NJ right across the Delaware Rv from Philadelphia.

@@marytheresejacksonlutz2533 Same for my parents! It was always Chicken Noodle soup for lunch almost every single day!
And God forbid my Grandmom did not have his chicken noodle soup🤦♀️
@@marytheresejacksonlutz2533 Your comment made me laugh. I think my parents were exactly the same, as well !
Campbell's soup taste like crap now with GMO in the soup now, nasty
Grew up on Campbell's tomato soup. My favorite. Mom used to add spaghetti or Dutch noodles. Crumbling saltines into a bowl is also delicious! 😋

Sodium level goes through the roof.
Sadly, but don't they also make reduced sodium versions?
They make low sodium options.
In fact you did change the chicken noodle soup, there’s ghost pepper chicken noodle soup! 😂
One of my fondest memories was going to work at RCA (bldg 17, the Nipper building) across the street and smelling the soup being made. Those were the days ......
Can you imagine how 🔥 the original recipe must have been?

Chicken and turkey noodle soups❤️
I like the 1953 Campbell's logo
Little did we know the soups were so high in sodium they were a ticking timebomb in a can
Only thing left in Camden, NJ

I don't care for the regular chicken noodle soup but love the Homestyle. Have it a couple times a week in cooler weather.
I use Campbell's beef vegy soup all the time
How much did Campbell's pay for this piece? It's clearly an advertisement disguised as a news segment.
Do they export? I have never tasted it..

I can't recall the last time I had Campbell's (or any canned soups, in general)...maybe 30 years ago? Sooo much sodium.
Yep, I agree with you there. Any prepackaged food and processed food, here in the US is loaded with unneeded sodium.
Make half cans of condensed soup. I'm tired of wasting cans!

I wish they made it soy free and gluten free for those who have food allergies
I wish they had one thing that wasn't a GMO but they don't.

Their soups taste like metal especially tomato soup. I never get any store bought soup.
ALL HAVE SOLD THEIR SOUL'S AND ARE BOUGHT AND CORRUPTED!!!
Campbell...why so salty...as a younger healthy person even the low sodium can is crazy high make, it a third less.
