And it is so easy!!!! But so many people fear making soup. You really can't go wrong unless you add too much salt, but then all you have to do is dilute it. In medieval times every meal was home made soup. They kept a pot hanging on the hearth to swing over the fire. Each day family members would bring home whatever they could to put in the pot. Cabbage, rats, mushrooms, greens, any veggies. Fish, potatoes. And they just kept adding and never cleaned the pot. It was a continual meal.

I loved Campbell soups growing up. Now I have a family and I’m reluctant to buy my childhood favorite because it uses bioengineered grains in all of their soups. It’s difficult to buy premade soups without the genetically modified ingredients. I’ve started making my own soups, that way I can use as many organic ingredients as I can find.

all you gotta do is: saute some chopped onion, celery, bit of carrots , or leeks, garlic .. for a few minutes in olive oil, add broth, knorrs chicken bouillon.. if you dont have broth or you prefer..
Then add whatever vegetables you like .. simmer until tender ...pour over a piece of french sourdough in a bowl.. enjoy!!

This is an advertisement for Campbell's Soup masquerading as a friendly "Things You Should Know" video. Even the "There's nothing like a bowl of Campbell's Tomato Soup and a Grilled Cheese Sandwich" comment sounds suspiciously like advertisements I've seen elsewhere around the internet. More propaganda from this soup company. Further, I do not understand why Campbell's steadfastly REFUSES to address the unhealthiness of the Tomato Soup. Campbell's Tomato Soup has a GENEROUS serving of High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) in every can which is known to disturb normal blood sugar. HFCS is a synthetic sweetener made in a lab via a chemical process. It's not natural at all. In fact, there are two kinds of HFCS but only one is safe enough to feed to honeybees. I love tomato soup but not Campbell's.

Computer geeks that know that the way searches are run are called hashes, and to speed up searches they put a number sign in front of a keywords. So, since searches became popular on Facebook and Twitter they are now also called hashtags.

It is so super easy to make awesome soup. But some people are fearful. If you just buy a family flat of inexpensive chicken leg quarters and boil them a couple of hours, then throw in fresh or frozen bag of veggies into the water and season. You have super awesome cooked soup that puts everything in a can to shame no matter how expensive.

😎When Campbell's Soup goes on sale, it ALWAYS is only the same 4 basic varieties. Always those same 4. I would love to buy some of the other varieties occasionally, but I find them much too expensive. I wished they would vary what goes on sale, and honestly I think that should also make better business sense for the company as well.
😎Another big issue I have, is that in many years I have no longer seen family size cans. Who wants to open 3 or 4 cans of the exact same product when preparing dinner?? One 28 oz. can should be more cost effective, then several of exact the same thing, because packaging does have a cost as well.
🤔 I hope the famous soup company looks into both issues.

yes campbells is good but condensed soup is not the biggest mover any more because people are buying water at the stores, so progresso has got them beat I'm sure the water that they put in is better than a lot of cities water with all the chemicals in it . so even that i have excellent water i switched to progresso but the wife still uses the condensed soup for cooking . i tell people i remember when campbells had turtle soup people find that hard to believe . i guess i started to like progresso because they have a better selection . but the best is new england clam chowder from the dollar store and they had a can of clams for a buck mix the two together clam juice and all and wow what a treat . the clams are from the USA .

When Campbell's soup lowered their sodium in their soup, the sales plummeted. So they put more sodium back in! First, was this a marketing error? Why did they think telling people there is less sodium in their soups would make people buy more, when people today buy most things, based upon taste ! ? Yeah I get they thought most people that buy soup would want a healthier soup, but NO! THEN, here's the catch 22 for Campbells..., People then sued them for having to much sodium in their soup! You can't win, I guess!

    • @mikewebber2637

Campbell's was probably hoping that the lower sodium soups would bring in a more health conscious customer base.
