      Mom herself didn't take accountability for her daughter's actions. It's hard for parents to see their children as murderers, but the video of the car speeding up and deliberately crashing it into the building, without regard to the people in her car, or the people in the building who could've potentially been hurt, shows her actions were deliberate. McKenzie's behavior, the videos, and the concert attendance show her callous disregard for the lives she took. The only remorse she feels is for herself. It was goulish that she would dress up as a corpse and was sickening. Her parents have never made her suffer any consequences and have created a narcissist. Mom hanging up on Dom's mother shows how selfish she is. She only worried about HER precious daughter. My deepest condolences to Dom's and Davion's families. The two handsome, intelligent, and kind young men had so much to offer to the world. And for Davion's family, your son was not just cargo. He was beautiful and worthy of the same attention and respect as anyone else. I'm so sorry that he was portrait as such. Please find healing, strength, and peace in the arms of Yeshua. He will carry your burdens. ❤❤❤❤

      This may be the very first time both have faced any sort of accountability. When the gravity of mackenzie's 'situation' was realized is when they really panicked. How would U like to have to explain the videos shown here from Facebook. The Judge didn't disrespect the victims as she rightfully realizes she will be well into her 50s by the time 'they' seriously consider releasing her. This isn't California or New York where they have 'revolving doors' on their prisons. The Parole Board will see these videos and the DMV paperwork as to the circumstances she 'obtained' her license and her mother's role in this. Mackenzie will have a very bad time adjusting to reality in Prison. Her family will also have a very bad time accepting this reality. They will have to delude themselves to function every day.

      She drove and went to a concert after this? Oh no. She didn’t fully feel the weight of what she did. It is true though, that the brain of a teenager isn’t fully developed until 25yrs old. Netflix has a whole series on how to commit suicide, it’s pushed in the kids faces, they also have other self-destructive behaviors flaunted in their faces… even by books their public school libraries choose to put on their book shelves. If society doesn’t shield and protect kids from these evils, they will impact some kids to make bad choices and influence their decision making, and someone else’s bad choices can negatively impact many innocent people. This is a horrible tragedy, I was crying the whole time I watched the police body cam of Dominic’s mother being told the news. I can not even imagine the sorrow. I pray for both boy’s families… and I also pray for this girl and her family. Even though this who situation seems like ashes, I pray that somehow God can bring something good from it all, so that those boys didn’t die in vain. God can take horrible things and bring something beautiful from it. Mothers, you will see your sons again, but I know it’s going to be what seems like eternity. I pray that your hearts are comforted and God brings you peace of heart… this all may spare the lives of countless people, teens… especially those cont I’m playing suicide right now. They likely haven’t thought about how devastating their deaths would be to their families, just thinking about escaping their own pain. This will save lives.

    This is what happens when you tell your kids they are always right. That there are no consequences for actions. When parents fail to discipline then a judge has to step in. Judge didn't care if she was a model prisoner in juvie or if Mackenzie issued a fake statement in court. She had to step in and parent this girl because her mother didn't know how. She made her feel the weight of her actions and listen to all the pain she has caused. She didn't sugarcoat it like her parents did. This is just the beginning of it setting in. I hope she grows up in prison and realizes the implications of her crime. Listen up parents, when you don't lay down the rules at home, there will always be another parent who will step in and finish the job. Let that sink in.

    "She's not a murderer." When you are tried and found guilty of murder you ARE a murderer, now and forever. The mother is the mother of a murderer. The father is the father of a murderer. It looks like narcissism runs in the family. The mother is insufferable. Her narcissism runs so deep she doesn't understand how she is perceived. She is SO self-centered so as not to notice. Her daughter murdered two young men from selfish ego. When you listen to the mother speak, you know where she got it from. The sentences should definitely have run consecutively, NOT concurrently. And that narcissistic family doesn't understand that in 15 years, when her parole comes up, all their behavior and lack of remorse will weigh against their MURDERER daughter. And if such a thing is possible, this case is compounded by the fact that she brought along another innocent victim that had nothing to do with anything. She could have told the boyfriend that she wanted to talk to him alone, and left the other kid alive! Society can do without this family's contribution.

    • @RedceLL1978
      @RedceLL1978 Рік тому +8

      It's 15 years for EACH victim to be served concurrently. So, two 15 year bids is the sentence, you probably missed it when she said it. So she has to serve 15 years, deal with the parole board to be paroled for that sentence, THEN begin another brand new 15 years sentence and then deal with the discretion of the parole board at the end of that sentence too. Granted, with good behavior, you can get 1/3 off of each of those sentences, making it 10 years until she gets to see the parole board on each sentence and often they deny parole on the first parole hearing, which I think is a stupidly arbitrary policy that too often foregoes nuance in favor of parole board power tripping, but not every parole board does that. Realistically, this girl will probably do 30 years and be out around the time she's 50. I was in prison for burglary, went up for parole and was paroled the first time. It does happen.
