Mark struck a nerve when he brought up the old Darkwing. That's pretty clear with how angrily Night Boy proclaims his own heroism in response. Night Boy had something to prove. Victory alone wasn't enough. He's mentally unstable here and he desperately wanted to not only be a worthy successor of Darkwing... but have that worth acknowledged by others. He couldn't go on just 'winning' and killing criminals, because it wasn't just about that for him. The mission was important to OG Darkwing. The legacy is obviously what mattered to Night Boy. It helps that Night Boy mistakenly believed his exo-suit put him on par with Mark's strength. He thought he could win a toe-to-toe fight if need be and I don't doubt that Mark's total lack of martial arts probably increased Night Boy's confidence in their brief exchange. Night Boy was clearly the better fighter. He just didn't realize how vast the power gap truly was.

Oof not Darkwing pulling a Red Rush💀💀
I swear, I can't help but think of darkwing duck everytime i see this character
Thank god, I thought I was the only one
0:51-1:02 Gotham and Metropolis
When I read the title, I first said “Duck?” Watching the vid I immediately said, “Darkwing’s…dark. Bit excessively on the nose.”
The only Darkwing I respect is a duck, friend.
He technically beat invincible but then dropped the ball by taunting him.
Yup
If Darkwing just left him in the shadow realm he would've won.
So true, but he had to get his monologue in.
*..Ya they tend to give certain characters those dumb moments but if he looked like Cecil I’m sure he’d have won or lost differently..*
@@sloppnbiscuiitz The hell are you talking about? Villains of every stripe often lose because they feel the need to gloat, and Night Boy was clearly mentally unstable. It's part of his character. In the comics he gets professional help for the trauma he endured, joins the Guardians, and is a very powerful hero for Earth. It just takes him some time to work through the death of his mentor AND his Redhood-ish desire to murder criminals.
That’s how he actually defeats an Alternate Mark during the Invincible War. Trap an Evil Mark in the Shadow Realm and let those things eat him
"Guess who they'll eat first."
That is chilling. Just straight, logical, cold fact. And "Darkwing" knew it.
"you would never" meaning he didn't actually see mark as a danger and just wanted to be a piece of shit.
Upset that Omniman killed his mentor and is just trying to take it out on his son, knowing full well Invincible would never kill him, seeing it as a free win.
This scene, along with Angstrom Levy’s “death” are really good at driving home the message that
It’s kinda hard to not become something, when people keep insisting that it’s all you can be, and deny you a chance to be different
"Let me know when u are done playing tourist" Dunno y that line would fit in an open world game where u frolic around in the middle of a mission 😂
I also like the Invincible theme playing all sinister in the background when he says that "I'm Omniman s son" line. Glad Cecil didn't hear that bit, but I don't think Invincible knew that.
Dark Wing and Night Boy, interesting names for Batman and Robin, not saying they're bad
Kinda sad that no one ever retrieved the two thugs Darkwing caught in season 1
How is that sad
@@alecpowers8591 because one of them died first and the other had to watch the decomposing corpse next to them as they died slowly too
@@BrandonDenny-we1rw they are thugs who cares
@@alecpowers8591 clearly someone knowing there thugs but still knows there still human beings
@@alecpowers8591 in batman it is even shown that one of joker's thug has a family. So yeah there's that possibility.
3:53 "Like you said: I'm Omni-Man's son. You have no idea what I'm capable of." chills
1:09 those are the guys who darkwing put up on ep 1 before he died
The original Darkwing probably didn't have superpowers.
But the kid sure does.
And, for decades, i thought that Darkwing was a duck
Having the Gotham city of this world always on night time because it was cursed is really cool
0:59 When playing Prototype moving from the infected zones to human zones
3:44 When you're playing Prototype and you're having to fight off Hunters alongside Blackwatch's men.
Imagine living in the apartment that’s right in the middle of the cursed and regular side 😂😂😂
Bro could've just left him there. He had to gone back for seconds.😂
Invincible - "Ouch!"
Also Invincible - "I didn't say it hurt."
1:37 Darkwing.....duck!
This season is essentially people telling Mark he's no better than his father, pushing him further and further and being shocked when he hits back
Being able to create a pocket void dimension to trap there opponets just for them to be devoured by some home hostile and hungry entietes inhabiting tihs place is probably the creepiest superpower I've ever seen.
Who the hell would willingly stay in that city even Gotham has a daytime
criminals, since the police don't occupy there
Ok but how is Donald not employee of the month? Like he’s run in to so many enemies that could squish him effortlessly and his first instinct is always to go for the strap
Cause he died on the job, so unprofessional
@@DM-Oz Just lazy. Took a holiday right when he was needed the most.
3:52 he knew psychological torture
4:13 - Mark pulled a Bruce Lee on Darkwing
"Hey man, I said I felt that punch, I didn't say it hurt" is an underrated line, considering that this is like a Batman Vs Superman fight here.
0:54 Gohan(Geo) fools around in the world select
Gohan(Geo): cool, desert, no tropical islands and jungles
Chief Malone: Hey Mario, let me know when you've spotted a power star
1:50 Gohan(Geo): how did... I defeated Larson at Kanto city along with Cyrus
Man, I know villains monologue and it's a whole thing, but more so than any other time I've said it this guy really snatched defeat from the jaws of victory because while they all monologue to their respective detriments, few if any do so having already successfully trapped their hero nemesis in an inescapable realm that will kill them just by their being in it, to say nothing of its inhabitants helping with that
Mark struck a nerve when he brought up the old Darkwing.
2:52 I mean.. he also said "ow"
That’s what I’m saying
I love how Mark's approach to the fight changes the second he realises Darkwing can't hurt him.
Darkwing Duck is the only Darkwing 😂
He definitely would've changed things if Drake Mallard were around.
