His usual rogues gallery that isn't Thawne or another speedster would get absolutely wrecked by Flash. The man has villains like a dude with a boomerang, a guy who spins like a top, a dude with a weather controlling wand, a dude with a freeze gun, a guy who can go inside mirrors and more goons of that sort. How the fuck are they supposed to fight a guy who can literally run faster than the speed of light? His speed is too much and his feats are too insane. Virtually no one can stand up to that, so they have to make him stupid or give him a BS weakness because otherwise, he would just go around oneshotting all the bad guys. And in CW's case, I imagine budget is a big problem too. Making superspeed look good in every single episode, on top of making the villain of that episode and their powers also look good probably costs quite a bit of money. That's why so much of that show is spent just talking or hanging out with only a few mins of actual superhero action per episode. Flash is a very difficult hero to get right. He either looks weak and boring or super OP, which is also boring. There's no good middle ground for him.
Well, in this instance, no one besides Deep and A-Train knows that's just a second Noire. Star was surprised he talked. For Butcher and Stars POV, the 1st Noire suddenly spoke and started flying.
Finally, a good fight scene I think A-train realistically showcased how OP being a speedster is against anyone without equal superhuman speed and reflexes💀

No he isn't, not really, he ate a crotch shot and never tried to actually overwhelm Starlight with strikes or any sort of technique, he just was physically stronger and overpowered her and threw her around like he's trying to showcase his superiority, and didn't manage to finish her before A-train arrived because of it.

Starlight didn't even bleed after all the beating she got, I don't think Deep can really hurt her. He seems to be stronger, but Starlight is more durable. That's why Starlight was able to do a lot of damage to Deep.
Love how this scene manages to make The Deep both immensely threatening (It's good that they remember that, even if he's an insect next to Homelander, he still IS a super) while also keeping him mind-numbingly stupid and a prime-cut jerk at the same time.

Something I feel The Boys does pretty badly is power level consistently. The Deep can supposedly swim in the Mariana Trench, and can punch through concrete effortlessly. But Annie can take those punches, and cause Deep to bleed with just a few punches. Yet in Season 1, we see her struggle to lift half a tonne, and she gets wounded by 50 calibre rounds. Not only that, but Annie brushes off pretty much every aggressor she comes up against without a mark to show for it, even including Soldier Boy. Here, she gets rag-dolled, but gets back up and doesn’t even feel winded at all.

Then, she proceeded to show basically no signs of injury after getting back up and helping restrain SB. If a 50 calibre round can stagger her, to the point where she actually winces in pain, yet she can just brush off strikes from The Deep you can effortlessly punch through slabs of concrete or dent steel, that just seems a little inconsistent to me.
I personally find annie to be completely useless throughout the show , i see they are starting to make her stronger but nearly everyone beats her and she always causes trouble or drama .

I feel like if Deep didn't have such a massive ego and think that he could beat anyone just by being "strong", he could actually have won this fight. He has combat skills yes, but he didn't try. He just assumed he could beat Starlight with no effort and that was his problem.
Honestly yeah, earlier in the seasons he said he survived the deep trench, which would make him one of the more durable in the verse due to the water pressures, I doubt they would even kill him if they tried in this fight especially with new noir around the corner, hopefully we can get to see him use his powers to their fullest potential next season.

What's funny and interesting is how A-Train at the start of the show is somewhat unlikeable at first (whilst still somehow making you feel sorry for him), but he then slowly redeems himself and actually becomes a hero, whereas Deep starts off unlikeable and just gets worse (whilst still somehow making you feel sorry for him at times). A-Train essentially follows the line "With great power, comes great responsibility.", whereas Deep follows the line "With great power, comes the absolute certainty that you'll turn into a right c**t.".

Funny after how Starlight made fun of him back in S1 he's now literally stomping her into the ground. Kripke has gone kooky.
I feel like if Deep didn't have such a massive ego and think that he could beat anyone just by being "strong", he could actually have won this fight. He has combat skills yes, but he didn't try. He just assumed he could beat Starlight with no effort and that was his problem.
Honestly yeah, earlier in the seasons he said he survived the deep trench, which would make him one of the more durable in the verse due to the water pressures, I doubt they would even kill him if they tried in this fight especially with new noir around the corner, hopefully we can get to see him use his powers to their fullest potential next season.
It's awesome to incorporate the actor's narco into Black Noir.
IMO, Starlight should have dominated Deep.
Deep got knocked out by a boat. Starlight took a freakin' 50 cal and was still conscious.
That’s just durability, Deep still seemed the stronger and since Annie couldn’t overpower him it was why she lost.
she has more durability and endurance than him but he's physically stronger and she got overpowered though it didn't really do anything to her cause she didn't have a scratch on her. starlight would have dominated if she had her powers but she was in a fragile mental state and had to rely on her strength alone.
What's funny and interesting is how A-Train at the start of the show is somewhat unlikeable at first (whilst still somehow making you feel sorry for him), but he then slowly redeems himself and actually becomes a hero, whereas Deep starts off unlikeable and just gets worse (whilst still somehow making you feel sorry for him at times). A-Train essentially follows the line "With great power, comes great responsibility.", whereas Deep follows the line "With great power, comes the absolute certainty that you'll turn into a right c**t.".
This whole scene is so funny.

Okay,I love how Atrain came and saved everyone….but no deaths? An alternative scene would be Joe coming to butchers aid and came out and ripped noir 2 in half,causing deep to freak out and run and tell the boss…then homelander sends a hit squad out to kill butcher…and somehow finds out atrain was the leak and kills him
I do hope we'll see more A-train action in season 5 and I hope he don't die too
You know they could have killed Deep off here but that just means they’ve got something truly special planned for him and it’s going to be horrific 😂😂. This man is going to get skinned alive by having his gills ripped off his body.
