Dang bro. So many violations. No 15&5 brake check, walking on the belt while it’s moving, no power and air, and hopefully y’all didn’t miss ttc. Finna give y’all a ROD
This was bad. There were so many ramp safety errors. As a Supv/ALA, I can only shake my head and be thankful no one was hurt. This type of operation is why the Safety briefs each day exist.

I wouldn't work for DGS, don't work for a contract company. If you live in a bigger city, especially if it's a hub or a company like Southwest do that. I work for one of the top 3, and while the contracted employees do a damn good job, they are not paid that well, and treated even worse. If you want a career with aviation, don't work for a contracted company
Lektro’s are too expensive and the way it was explained to me is that the training is too much to qualify everyone on it. These small RJs can be pushed out with a baggage tug and we used to do that with the RJ145 while using “Big Bertha” for the E190. Lektro’s are too expensive but they do make the work much much easier. The station I work at now used to own a Lektro pushback but sent it to Newark because it was "too much to handle".

It depends if you mainline or contractor but now they are paying better
The pay is terrible. Ramp agents are very underpaid

A interesting view.
So did you ever end up flying dude?

Definitely.. Ramp agents are way underpaid.
You should work for sw. DGS has always been low staffed and lame.

How long were you at DGS for and what was your position?
1.5 years, and we did everything lol

I guess DGS can't afford actual pushbacks or electros for every gate. They would rather use a baggage tug.
